I mean this girl I like thinks I'm funny and stuff, and likes my personality. But whenever i send her an e-mail or IM, she just ignores it. Does this have to do with the "Out of sight, out of mind" quote, or is this something else? Answers from females would be appreciated.

I've liked a childhood friend for almost 5 years..but seen her only once in that time since she lives in another country. I've tried to move on, but I can't get into a serious relationship with anothe girl...something inside just turns off after a certain point! I told her about my feeling last summer, but she didn't give me a clear "Yes" or "No". Since we only talk on the phone or chat online...it's hard to guess what's going through her mind!
I'm 24...do u think I'm being immature? I mean how long is too long waiting for who I believe is my soul-mate?

About 6 months ago I found out that the bank account that I had so diligently added to while working was gone. I confronted my husband and he admitted he used it all to buy drugs. Believe it or not, my first question was to ask if he needed help to get off the drugs, but he said no. (I believe I asked that first because I am a recovering addict now for 15 years.) However, this has happened 2 more times and now I am disabled. We always had the best credit scores and now we have to juggle bills. We have a huge plumbing job that must be done and there is no longer "that bank account." I don't know what to do. Even if I wanted to, I can't make him leave. I count on his paychecks since I don't work. I feel as if I am trapped.

My boyfriend is currently in college with a really busy schedule. There are days that I don't hear from him in a while but I think I've gotten used to that. We also go out once a week but sometimes he can't make it and I understand that too. I'll atleast be happy if he took a few mins atleast every other day to e-mail me or something but I guess not. I've talked to him about it a million times but everytime I complain its me that doesn't understand. But he also says he'll put more effort which only last a while and then it goes back to being the same. Even if I try to send him sweet notes, I guess he's too busy to reply. Ive been really busy too with college when he wasn't going and I always found atleast a few mins. to talk to him because he's that important to me. He says he truly loves me but his "coldness" makes me sad alot. How can I accept how things are and get used to it?

i deliver papers for my local paper. There are lots of different races that live through out the city, i am not racial at all. But i came across something that bothered me, and still is. I was delivering papers in a highly populated african american community, as i approached the door of my customers i saw a little african american girl around 6 starting to cry and scream when she saw me. She was playing in the yard. This was the house that i was delivering the paper too. I am a white women in her late twentys that has never hurt no one, i have never seen this child. Her dad came out appolgized, telling me that his little girls friend told her that if she got close to a white person, she would be shocked to death when the white person got close. I am assuming like being electricuted or something. He called her out and told her that nothing happened to her. Her dad said she was over reacting. Why would her friend tell her something like that, and why would she so scared?

i went out with this guy last year, starting in october, ending 2 months later. i just broke up with my boyfriend 3 weeks ago, and its been really hard. i know i'm moving into another relationship too fast, but ive always been a people pleaser, and this guy i'm dating again said hed give anything to have a 2nd chance with me. i gave in cause i figured i didnt have anything to lose, but i think i just see him as a friend, even though i flirt with him and he's one of the few people i can be myself around. should i just end it while i can and save myself from lying all the time, or should i wait it out and see how it goes?

Leslie (female) and I have known each other for 35 years. She's been with her husband for nearly that long. The marriage has been on the rocks for the last 5 years. He has finally left her. They are divorcing. He won't be back. She is deeply depressed. She has made a 1/2 hearted attempt at suicide. I have suggested counciling but she says she doesn't need it. She doesn't have a 'faith' (no religious upbringing). Her Dad is dead and she barely tolerates her Mom. She has no friends that I know of. Her whole world was this man, even though she has been unhappy for years. She's reclusive. Truthfully, we have little in common but our past. I deeply care about her, but feel helpless. Any advice would be appreciated. I am in a happy marriage now. She was there for me when I was at the bottom of my own horrible divorce and depression, so I feel I understand what she's going through. But I had God, a loving family and friends to help me through rough times. She has none of this.

So I'm a senior this year and I'm graduating high school and my friends and I were talking about how we missed our childhood. So i decided to host this little event with about 20 or so people that I'm friends with. We were all going to go to the park and play some games from back in the day one last time just to kind-of remember the past.

we were going to play a game of "capture the flag" at first that was just the main plan to just go and play a game of capture the flag but then I thought about adding some more activities.

so in the end I've decided to do
-capture the flag
-tug of war
-that giant parachute thing
-Four square
-basketball

It was just a day in the park to have a good time. But i haven't really "told" any of my friends about it yet. I'm afraid they migiht think it's kind-of "dumb" or "weird"

I was wondering if you could tell me what you think?
If you were a senior in high school would you think this was more "weird" or "fun" or what?? Should i take anything out

Ok so I have been dating my boyfriend for 9 months now. He lives over an hour away and we only see each other on weekends. We are in love everything is going great but I have a little problem.

He works late on sundays (he works the graveyard shift) and lately we have been only seeing each other on Sundays. I have hurt my back and haven't been able to drive to his house in a while. But the past couple months he would rather spend he free day with his friends. Should I keep my mouth shut and let him, or ask if we could have at least one saturday together?

Okay, so three years ago, I dated this guy for a few weeks. It got very emotional and sexual very quickly, instant relationship and intimacy. Everything was going wonderfully, until out of nowhere he breaks up with me. He didn't really give me a reason why (except the whole, it's not you, it's me thing), and everything seemed to be going well, so I got really upset at it. We had mutual friends we both hung out with. I didn't want to make the situation uncomfortable so I just wouldn't really talk to him without talking to me first and I didn't say anything romantic to him. But then, in front of our friends, he'd have these mean, snide remarks he'd make at me out of nowhere (remarks he had never said to me before). I would only be able to take it for so long before I started being snide back, prompting him to say he was just kidding and I should stop being so bitchy and psychotic. Eventually, I just stopped hanging out with him, because I didn't want us to deal with this.

My friend's name is Pele. I haven't known her that long, but I became very close to her from my church's camp. She would always come to church, and loved to please God, and I looked up to her for that. ...but she moved into a different area. We live on Maui, so where she lives is still pretty close to our church. I haven't seen her in over a month, and she doesn't come to church anymore. She is on Spring Break, and one of her goals was to "drink with Scott." and strangely another one of her goals was "to get involved with the cops." She has done both. I am worried about her, because she has seemed to change..the only way I talk to her now, is through e-mail. She stopped cutting, but she said she's not afraid of suicide. Her life seems to be falling apart, and I can't do anything about it. I just don't know what to do.

now he married me and she still wants to control him and he falls for everything she does but when i get up set he tells me its all about me and how he love me and not her but check this out i told hom lets move out of state and now he tells me he cant because thats a promise they made to each other that they wouldnt move out of state so that the kid would be close to both of them so my question where do i stand ?his son cant come over because she refuses and he doesnt spend the night and my husband only see his son when he goes to her house and stays there for a while he visits with his son but i not know what to do because half of the time he tells me that it is all about me and him but we dont do anything i think the relationship is over but i cant let go because i love him and i think if i leave him its going to be a mistake but what do you think ?remeber he llives with me but he doesn't want to move out of state and i cant take any more of the city life what do i do?
