No; it isn't.

The problem is not - and never has been - the concept/institution of marrige.

The problem is couples where one or both of them are not emotionally mature enough to live together.
They don't have a sufficient sense of compromise or forgiveness; thus, before long they have a series of unresolved issues, and sooner or later something comes along that they just can't get past, and boom....that's the end of the relationship.

If I was a betting man, I would never get married ever... I had a marriage of 24 years, and my ex walked out for a older man. She didn't want to live as a married couple, and she is entitle to half of everything... House, Car, Pension, Bank, you name it... Outdated, I would say you would have to be a fool!!!

Marriage in itself is not just a piece of paper as
someone tried to imply, as the piece of paper
just says your married. Marriage is love and total
committment along with responsibility of two who
want to live togeather and share the rest of their
lives togeather, and the word marriage is put on a
piece of paper to make it legal that's all.
