My boyfriend is currently in college with a really busy schedule. There are days that I don't hear from him in a while but I think I've gotten used to that. We also go out once a week but sometimes he can't make it and I understand that too. I'll atleast be happy if he took a few mins atleast every other day to e-mail me or something but I guess not. I've talked to him about it a million times but everytime I complain its me that doesn't understand. But he also says he'll put more effort which only last a while and then it goes back to being the same. Even if I try to send him sweet notes, I guess he's too busy to reply. Ive been really busy too with college when he wasn't going and I always found atleast a few mins. to talk to him because he's that important to me. He says he truly loves me but his "coldness" makes me sad alot. How can I accept how things are and get used to it?

honestly? you dont have to get used to anything. you're part of a "relationship" and it always takes two to tango. its not only YOU to make the adjustments. i dont believe that he's that busy not to reply to you, really, it ony takes like a minute to reply right? anyway, how long are you two been together? look, based on experience, if a guy is really in to you? he will always have time for you, even a few seconds before his biggest exam to text you or just before he goes to bed. being in college is not an excuse i mean c'mon, he's not in school 24/7 right? what im saying is, you gotta talk to him and let him know exactly how you feel, and if any of his answers doesnt seem right then its time for you to think about letting him go and find somebody else. id be happy to help you. hollaback girl!

Yep, college is a relationship killer. Most of the guys I knew in college had girlfriends at home, but that didn't stop them from seeing girls at school. Chicks did it too. Everybody is meeting a new batch of people at school, so it happens.

start hanging out with a lot of your guy friends then he'll get jealous and pay more attention.
