I need some opions, I was married in november last year to my parter who iv been with since i was 13. (now 30.5)I am friends with my girlfriends boyfriend. ( she went through painful split from her husband who cheated on her 3.5 years ago) . He is a older guy 41. Buy the problem is I am constantly thinking about him. He comes to me for advice about my gf! and we just hit it off so well. We have so much in common, as him and my gf dont! We have coffee once a week to catch up! My husband knows of this as they used to work together all the time and knew each other before him and I did.. I cant stop thinking of this person. I dont know what to do, Do i tell this male (considering he is a friend) how I feel or Do I just push my feelings and thoughts aside, I have always been the level headed straight one that everyone comes to for advice but now that its my turn , im stuck! I love my husband but this other man is totally differnt to my husband ! Please if you need more info just ask,!

I'm getting married this summer and it is formal. I'm definitely going to have tuxes for me (obviously), the best man, groomsmen, future father-in-law, and ring bearer. However, I wasn't sure about my dad, stepdad, and my future wife's stepfather. If there was no money involved, then fine, everyone can get a tux. However, my dad is poor and has not been a regular part of my life. Also, my stepdad has helped me out more than my dad, but I'd hate for him to have one and not my real father.

I read everywhere that for a formal wedding, the groom's father must have one, but I think it's a waste of money for two stepfathers, and my dad to rent one when all they'll be doing is walking in and sitting in the front row. I don't understand that. Please don't give me the pictures speech either. It's not like they'll come in street clothes. They'll still be in their "sunday best."

What do you think?

how do you save whatever is left from your dignity after being broken up with if you have already begged, called, e-mailed and acted like on dumb desperate chick after your boyfriend of three years decided he doesn't want to be with you anymore?

We has a class together. As we are entering class sometimes I'll be entering before her and hold the door till she gets it ans she says thanks and smiles. We have a class in another building on campus right after this class and to she held the door open for me when I was right behind her and I looked at her and said thank you and enthusiastically she said your welcome. Then after my class I was going down the hallway when she came out of the bathroom. I was talking on my cell phone and she heard my voice and looked over at me and when she realized i was talking on my cell phone and not talkiing to her she continued to look into my eyes and I did hers unitl we passed each other in the hall. While looking at her i winked at her and smiled While looking at me she smiled at me in a way I haven't seen do before. After that I got this feeling all over.
Was she saying I want to be friends? Was she flirting with me? What should I do tomorrow?

I have this guy that really likes me and asked me to go with him. My mom and dad think i shouldn't because he's older and because i might get pressured to do things that i will regret later on. But I think i'm mature enough to have a guy and take care of those responsiblities myself and if i would need help i could ask them. I also think that i am not so easy to give in and that if i am pressured to do tose things i would not do it or break up with him. What do u think?

The only reason I ask this is because I have a hard time getting dates even though I'm "supposedly" very good-lookin. But when I see girls out at clubs or coffee shops or whatever they never give me any sort of indication that they're interested in me (I won't be the first to approach a girl cause I'm a bit shy so I try to wait for a smile or something first). Some girls in the past have told me I'm "intimidating"....but I don't really know get what they mean by that??

I'm 24 years old, 5'9", slim and toned, tanned, dark hair, green eyes, dress very well, a little shy though I try to act confident, really sweet and romantic, i can play the piano, im really good at sports, and can have fun doing pretty much anything. So why can't I find a girl? :-(

I am a twinless twin meaning I had an identical twin brother who died at a very young age. He died from SIDS. Everytime I think about the loss of my brother I have mixed feelings. I feel as though he is still with me but not. The yearing for a brother figure pused me into all types of friendships I knew were no good for me. I wanted some type of brotherly figure to replace my own. I began to drink and use drugs heavy as I began to get older. I though as I got older the pain of that loss would lessen but to no avail. I cant get over the fact the my brother died and left me here in this place. Sometimes I feel really lonley but there have been times were I was supposed to die but I was saved from being shot. It feels like my purpose here is for something greater but I am still searching to fil a void thats missing in my life. Its like I walk through life not even a whole person but a half

ok so basically i really like this guy and i'm pretty sure he likes me too. my friend introduced us like a month ago and we have been talking on and off ever since and seen each other like twice.. which could be a problem. but anyway he was talking to my friend the other day and told her that he liked me and wanted to ask me out but that i don't talk enough. i'm pretty shy and not one to talk a lot on the phone and he believes that if i don't talk then it could form a problem in our relationship later on... so basically i'm screwed and he hasn't called me in like a week... what should i do??

This seems to be happening a lot lately and I know that when you feel like something is only happening to you it's usually farthest from the truth. So is any one else out there suffering too?

i've been married for five years, we get along great, we have even learned to fight without to many "cheep shots". we have one daughter of our own, another on the way, and we had basically adopted our five year old niece. we'er a growing happy family. laugh together play together, cry together.. but lately, i've been really depressed, i know i am pregnant, and that likely has alot to do with it. most of it centers around my mother in law (who i love she's a nice lady) but its like, she's decided to be the mom of my family, and i am a stay home mom, and what else do i have but to take care of my family? she's constantly trying to take my daughter, (not my niece who lives with us) saying she's trying to help relieve my burden, well then why did i have kids at all? i know she just wants to help so i just ignore it, but today when my husband came home from the dentist, i offered him some warm soup to eat, he declined, his mother two seconds later, offered him, warm soup, he thanked her and

He is apathetic when it comes to the kids and apathetic when it comes to his marriage. Do all middle aged men go through this? Does he need help? He has been this way for years. He refuses to go anywhere except work or do anything with the family and just sits in front of the TV when he gets home. The kids need a father and she needs a husband at least some times! What causes this? Is he bored with family life? What should she do? They have 5 kids.

everytime I head over to my in laws house they call me a alcoholic/drunk yet they always have a drink in thier hands, I however only have a social drink yes I get drunk but only three days out of the whole year! these two have a drink everyday! and the pompus asses I have for a brother and sister in law always talk about me behind my back! so I asked my wife "why do they think I'm a drunk"? she said she often talks to them and jokes about it.........then she laughs! mind you my sister inlaw has personally kicked me in my balls, slapped me in the face and a host of other "jokes" she unleashed upon me. the brother is a complete joke of a man a real wuss, nuf said. and my lovely inlaws even tried shoving a drink in my face after going on a rant about how I happend to be a drunk, and did this on christmas eve at a party at thier house. so on the way home after thinking about everything they have done to me I called her brother sister and mother a bunch of C*NTS, was I wrong for doing so?

This question's background!

(1) When a widowed mother pleads his son for a cataract surgery her well-to-do son asks, "You are sixty! Why a cataract surgery for you now?

(2) A son to his old and infirm parents!
"I am not your only son! Why don't you go and stay with them too? Can they escape this burden?"

(3) The son-in-law's argument! "Is it not an unwritten law that parents should never stay for long in their daughters' house? Ask your parents to go and stay with any of their children! Why should we bother about them"?

(4) I know of a family who regularly go to Church on Sundays; but do not even spend an hour with their widower father.

Surprised? I have quoted real incidents! I was also witness to a son scolding and abusing his 80-year old mother while she was carrying food to her husband. This son frequently wept when he too became a victim of neglect later.

Please look around and reply after introspection.
