I recently went threw a similar affair and although like you i am still struggling to start afresh with some one new, and i have, but my ex still arouses feelings that no one else can because he is my first love and its only natural to get over someone you love slowly, it takes a long time to cope. If you want him back and you believe there's no reason you shouldn't have him then go after him. How do you go about it you ask rely on impulse. when you see him and you think something like "i wish he new i miss him" tell him. Some guys aren't as perspective as we women might belive.

ps: don't worry about the 'what if he doesn't' its better to know for sure than to be bothered by what ifs all night

Trust me, the old addage is true, time heals all wounds. I felt like you do after my ex and I split, but after nearly a year I was basically completely over her and had moved on and was much happier, you will be too. Just give it time and try to avoid him as much as possible.

you will get over it in time, just try to do things you enjoy, hang out with friends and try to go on some dates so you can see who else is out there and just explore your possibilities....
