My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 years... since we were 15. We are living together and planning on moving to Florida together here within the next year. I have been thinking a lot about us and the future. Everytime I bring up marriage... he just doesn't really say much! Why?!?!

I'm 24/f and I can't seem to figure out why guys dont like me. I look decient, I take care of myself, I did gymnastics for 14 years growing up, I ice skate now, I had braces as a kid, I wear light make-up, I am concervative, I dont drink, I dont do drugs, I am in College, I hope to graduate with a BA in 2 years in Art Education, I graduated HS, I love animals, I cook, I drive, I think I"m funny to an extent... what is wrong with me? why dont guys like me? for refrence, here's a picture...

ive been single noa for nearly 2 years im 25 outgoing with a good personality and i would consider myself fairly good looking. Ok im not ugly and im just going on what people tell me. I own my house and drive and have a decent job as a mortgage adviser but i cant seem to meet a man. I dont know if im doing anything wrong. I dont go out and look for it so i dont look desperate or anything like that. Do men not like succesfull woman or do they prefer woman to want and need them. I'm in high school and I've been in a few relationships but they just seem boring. All the fun is in getting the girl and hooking up with her. Right now I'm going out with this really nice girl but so many other girls are coming on to me, it doesn't seem worth it to give up the rest of them to hook up with her on the weekends. p.j.'s and rest my hand on her butt or her hip. Nothing sexual. I just like the feel of her skin and that's how I fall asleep, with my hand on her butt. So anyway, last nite I put my hand on her butt and I felt something hard. I grabbed it and once I held it under the nite light I realized it was a dime that was stuck to her butt. I tried to go for it and talk to this girl I've been missing for the longest time. I hadn't been bugging her, we said hi occasionally, I thought things would be cool between us. My boyfriend and I are engaged and have begun preparation for the wedding. It is planned for just more then a year away. We’ve decided on an evening event and the reception is indoors. I realize this is some time from now, but we have already encountered a substantial issue. We are from exceedingly large families, both with very young children. We have differing opinions in regard to their attendance at a formal evening wedding, except for the wedding party. I am not in favor of including younger children (approximately from the age 10 and under). He wishes to allow parents the option. Here’s some insight: He is the remaining family member to marry. Furthermore, he is an only child. It is also customary for his family to involve everyone at all family member’s weddings. Besides suggesting a time change, as we are adamant about that, how can we come to a compromise?

I recently went to Hawaii with one of my girlfriends. I just got back 2 days ago. I had a fantastic time. We went hiking, and swimming, and exploring. We painted silks and beaded crystal suncatchers. We attended a 2 year old's birthday party. It was good clean fun. My husband was outraged that I went without him. He was hurt by the fact that I wanted to have time for me when I didn't want to be someone's wife or mother. I simply needed a break. I arranged for my mother, who we both trust, to watch our daughter while he was working. Do you think it's normal for couple's to take some vacations away from each other? I feel like it's healthy...and was much needed and very helpful. I was gone for 10 days, and now I feel refreshed. I'm even sending him out next week! How do you feel about spouses taking time apart?
