K my friend Lindsay just got asked out by this kid named Jake that I really like. And I'm kinda jelous. But Lindsay is my BFF but I don't want her to date him but if she wants to then what do I say? Someone please tell me we're BFF's and I don't want to jepordize our friendship! Should I be mad at her if she says yes? OMG please dig down in your heart and pull out the most reasonable answer EVER!

Unfortunately life isn't fair or perfect. Is Jake more important to you than Lindsay? Why be mad at her for accepting the attention of someone else? Did you try to talk with Jake and let him know how you feel about him? Ask him generally how he feels about you. He may wish to be friends only; then there is no point worrying about his being with Lindsay.

A guy you like likes your friend, it's understandable that you'd be jealous.
Have you told Lindsay that you like Jake? If she doesn't know, then you can't blame her for thinking about it. You should tell her.
If she knows and is still thinking about saying yes, maybe she really likes him, too. If she only wants to say yes to have a boyfriend, though, then maybe she isn't the friend you think she is.
If you really want to stay friends (both of you), and both of you like him, neither of you should date him, at least not right now. One of you might find someone else later, and then it won't be a problem anymore. But you shouldn't throw away a friendship.

it sounds like you like Jake but Lindsay is also important to you. Just tell her how you feel and if she still wants to date Jake try to understand how she feels too. Think about it this way in worst case scenario : if she wants to date Jake and you don't let her then your friendship will be ruined AND your heart will be broken; but if you let her go out with Jake you will still have your friendship.

Encourage her to date him. If he wanted to date you, he would have asked you.
However, all guys have their eyes on their gf best friend.
When Lindsay and Jake fades, he will be interested in you, if that's what you want.

if they end up loving each other, you never had a shot anyway, if they don't you still have a shot.you can't pick your bff love life. young love is only practice, so your bff gets to learn about getting her heart broken before you. you will get your shot at that too. you aren't gonna listen to reason , who are you trying to fool. you want an answer that will allow you to have your way.

If you two are best friends and she knows you like this guy to, then she probably won't go out with him....that is if you two are really best friends. Then again that probably don't matter these days, but be sure to let her know you like this guy. Talk it out.....Just don't let a guy come between two friends. Guys come and go.

so you dont wanna hold her back from anything
that she really wants
leave the decision up to her
and if its meant to last then it would be a shame
if you broke them upp
and if its not meant to last then soon enough they will break up

Does she know how you feel about him? There is an unwritten rule: girls don't date guys their friends like. Not without asking and making sure the friend who likes him is ok with it first.

my ex best friend used to always do that crap to me, ugh! lol hey let her go out with him, and go on all the dates with them and flirt wit him! that might be the only reason he's with her (to get closer to you!)
