You know what. I have been asking myself the same question. Especially in highschool you see so many couples together. Sure, it could be about sex, but it could also be just belonging. They feel that if they have a boyfriend/girlfriend that they are COOL and are LOVED. When especially girls hear they are loved they think they have to go all out for this guy when seriously they don't! For me I say if you find someone that you truely have an interest in and they have an interest in you than go ahead and try it, but always be ready for the result of them, only using you for sex, they never talk to you again after they break up with you or vise versa, or you lose a great friendship. I just think that people shouldn't be throwing themselves at people just to HAVE a boyfriend.....
