I am a good dad I have a nice home nice car a good job the same job for 17 years . she has no home no car no job lives off ssi and child support .jumpping from hotel to hotel drugs it all ...whats a good man to do

If you can prove without a shadow of a doubt that she is an unfit mom then you will get custody of your children. Many courts go with the mom as its more of a nuturing thing, that many feel the dad cant do. You may want to ask you lawyer if its possible too have her do a drug test to prove to the court of her drug abuse.
My uncle as you worked hard , had a stable life and he proved his wife was very unfit and he won custody of his 4 kids.

You get a lawyer and prove yourself to be a great dad and that you can provide better for your child and a more stable home life... You have to prove she is on drugs and living out of hotels.... If you can prove all of this you should get custody no problem... Good luck to you.

Unless a Mother has been proven to be unfit it is not likely the court will give children to their Father. If she is on drugs, report her to child protection services through your local country offices. You can make this call without giving your name. Make sure you know the facts ... don't get someone in trouble because you don't like them. Do the right thing for the children! Good for you!

It isn't about the material things. It is about what is best for the child. If you have proof your wife is unfit then you need to show that proof in court. Obviously if you were such a "good man" you would have done so already.

the court always outruled husband to take care of the kids since everyone came from a mother and knows the difference - but if you can prove to court that she is an irresponsible mother... go back to court and fight for your kids custody.

Well children all most always belong with their mother. Your situation is different b/c she has a drug problem. Don't get mad. No matter who you are male/female, if you have never met either of your parents....guarantee the first person you will search for is your birth mother.

If you can prove to the court that their mother cannot take care of the kids, then they'll let you have them and be responsible for them.

A good man does NOT give up.
Its called PROOF.
You need to prove her to be "UNFIT". Look that up in your state statutes and it will give a great definition.
Proof of drugs? risky behavior? child neglect? etc etc..
Get EVIDENCE and fight.

i suggest you support your ex and your kids so they don't have to live from hotel to hotel.
