A lot of women in my family tree(I mean way back, last was my grandmother) have committed suicide due to abusive husbands...I feel I have been brought in the loop. I think I can be abusive although I keep thinking and being honest emotionnally and intellectually.
Does anyone else feel they're in the "chain"?
I don't feel it right to blame myself, as it was pretty much-be abusive or I'll belt you to death....(from my father)

this might sound strange, but i hate summer simply because you always have to worry about what you're gonna wear, where to go and you basically feel stupid if you're stuck in the house all day and hear loud music outside and barbecuing...now, don't get me wrong... i am an attractive woman and get a lot of attention in summer..... but why does it make me insecure and depressed??? anybody else feel this way?

I look at the people around me and it seems that everyone has friends they can rely on and count on when they are down. But when I look at my "friends" they don't match that criteria. How would you find friends that are there no matter what. You know... when your youre bored you guys just kick it and do something or when youre down they take you out and do something to take your mind off whatever is going on. I know it sounds dumb but whats your take on friends? Where would you find people like I described up above?

Just open your mind a little give them some advice ! They need people to give them feedback ! I don't believe much in counseling ! I mean what do they do just sit there and listen and let you figure out whats wrong with yourself " What a Joke" ! I say give them somthing now somthing they can use ! Tell them about your experience and what will happen if they do what they do ! Come on show them you care !

There is this girl or group of girls that I have done nothing with but they just cannot stop talking about me. Me and this guy went out once or we were in high school. This guy who I'd been dating for 2mths and I performed oral on each other. He then stops calling me. I called him twice to find out what happened but he never returned my calls. That was about 2 mths ago. I recently bumped into him and I asked him what happened and he told me he didn't enjoy the moment we had. It was my 1st time performing oral, but I didn't tell him that. I thought the next time we did it I would ask him to show me what he liked, I didn't expect him to run away and hide. Was I wrong for expecting him to act like an adult? He is 24. Why didn't he just talk to me about it? We probably could've worked it out.

My boyfriend is in Iraq. He gets home in the beginning ofJune - and I want to have something sexy ready for him when he gets back. I have to pick him up from the airport, so i would really like to be able to walk through the door with him and treat him to something extra special - considering we havent been able to make love, or anything sexual at all for over 6 months.
Any thoughts or ideas?

I hardly ever get to spend time with my boyfriend!! I love him so much but his parents either are in a bad mood or are tired and he's not allowed at me house!! I want to spend time with him but it seems like he doesn't even try to get this parents to say yes!! All I want to do is see him outside of school!! I have liked this guy ("Alex") for over a year now. He knew I liked him,and he was really nice about it-we would still talk as friends,etc. The year before,my friend had asked him out (I didn't like him then) and he said he "Didn't want to go out til he was a certain age"(which was far into the future. Then today,he asked a girl ("Katie") out. Katie is very nice,and I'm happy for her,but I feel like I wasn't good enough for Alex. I'm upset,and annoyed that Alex made a lame excuse to my friend. When my boyfriend and i first got together his sister, her boyfriend, my boyfriend and me were all best friends. inseprable pretty much. it stayed this way until about two months into our relationship and then i turned into the devil. I thrive on making sure others are happy i always put her first. She doesnt like her food to touch so when se come to the house to eat i make sure the spagetti noodles dont mix with the sauce just for her. and thats just the begining. She thinks that i control her brother. But its not me its just the fact that he is growing up and maturing and not wanting to go out every night and party. I've never done anything to hurt her or lie to her. But yet she still hates me finds a way to make my life a living hell. I've made myself misrable trying to keep her happy. Why cant she just see that we are in love and her brother is happy and her be happy for him?? I've tried everything what more can i do to keep her happy??

me and my husband got into a "disagreement" and I threw a remote control at him and hit him on the foot with it. he threw it back at me and it hit me in the ear. my ear started bleeding and he felt so bad, as well he should, my question is should I be mad at him even though I threw the remote first?? My husband's ex had 3 kids which she claims 2 of them are his, but she doesn't have custody of them 2, her mother has had them for about 5 years,he has court next week, in which he will ask for a dna test, but all they want from him is just money they don't want him to part of them at all, they dont want him to see them or anything just to collect which i think is unfair, my question is, can he get custody of those kids?Also we live in different county's in florida like 8hours away we couldnt get a lawyer, cause we dont trust them specially if we cant see them and we are too far from that county, another thing we have 2 kids of our own too.

If a shy akward guy comes up to you and tells his feelings for you..and of course you drop him like a rock cause he has no scene of anything...he walks away broken..
Two years later you meet him agian but this time he looks ten times good looking then ever before...and more sure of himself..
Do you think the guy should tell her agian his feelings? or
