I'm 34 and have never been married. I have dated many great women that loved me, but inevitably I drift away from them within a year and can't stay committed. I thought I loved them for a while but later it turned out that I was only staying in the relationship because of guilt and the fear of hurting them. Could this be because I was adopted or why the heck can't I find joy in a long term relationship/marriage like everyone else?

i am married, i have a 2 year old...i work, i go to school and my life is pretty good, fast pace...normal, i would say...but i need major help with something that keeps flicking in the back of my mind. i can't control it, and i have to get over it so i can live my life comfortably. i keep thinking about the love that i had with my best guy friend before my husband and child were concerned...i constantly think about it and think about him and our relationship and everything we experienced and so on...and i want to get over it and i can't. what should i do? how do i let go of something in my past...?

As a guy I have to admit men are pigs & generally speaking after just one thing especially when they get older. However does I read an article about how a guy will lose two billion dollars for having an affair while he's worth like $22billion so 2 isnt a lot. My point though is while this guy cheated & deserves to pay & his wife of 15 years deserves something for her time & hardship doe it really seem fair that a guy say a firefighter or even a salesman that makes be it $40k or even $100k a year deserve to lose half his worth especially if he didn't cheat or worst if the wife did? People marry all the time for money & after a few years suddenly "fall" out of love & want a big pay day which isnt fair. Am I out of line thinking that unless theirs children &/or cheating involved wealth shouldnt be split 50-50% especially including future earnings. Its one thing if you get $500k on a million dollar wealth but future earnings also what is up with that. No matter who makes it it's not fair.

I was thinking about something, and I was wondering why something bothered my exes. I have been told I'm too nice. I stopped trying to be so nice, but that's still the excuse women used when dumping me. People on here have said they were just not mature enough to handle a guy like me or something like that. I open doors, I offer to pay for meals, I give gifts (not very often) for no reason. Is that really being too nice, or was that JUST an excuse? I've been thinking some of them (the gold diggers) were really just using me until they got tired of me. I have a good job, and it shows when I go out. I drive a 2007 Chrysler Sebring with the works. The OBVIOUS gold diggers aren't the only women I attract, but could all the others still be considered gold diggers if they didn't "deny me the pleasure" of paying for their meals? Maybe I'm answering my own questions, but I want to know if my gut feelings are right.

She has had this friend who only wants her for friends with benefits and she said she loves him and he don't love her he has an ex wife and a gf three kids with the ex wife and two kids with the gf. I don't know what to tell her to get it through her head that he does not love her and he will never love her. I just found out she had her first lesbian sexual experiance. I think it just made her more confused and hurt and Heart broken. She and i have been like sisters since the ninth grade. She is my besy friend and my sister. She does not understand why we are all trying to help her.

well i asked her out and she said i'll think about it and then after a week her friends told me she said no. But after that whole thing she began to be really shy around me and we don't really talk anymore. she looks at me alot during class and looks away when i look. also today in class we were reading this romantic story outloud and she kept staring at me with her head in her hands and looked kinda dazed.(0) like this ( =hands 0=head
i'm just really confused now. does she like me? shes also moving in may.when i saw her today my heart started beating in a way i never felt before it was........i dunno what to do . should i try again?

If you got a girl that you just truly despised pregnant and she decided that she despised you too and you were off the hook, she will never seek child support (and she doesnt)Would you go down to the attorney general and turn yourself in to paychild support (17.5% of my income w/ my second child) so I can standard visitation. just went on a high school trip and while I was there, I ended up hanging out with my crush a lot (just us). And when I was talking about it to one of her better friends, who is also a good friend of mine, he mentioned that he thinks that she has a "thing" for me. I asked him more about it today and he said that he thinks that she doesn't like me, but wants to be friends. first off, when we're talking about the types of guys women like to flirt with and fantasize about, personality is not the first thing that comes to mind. sure if you have confidence or a sense of humor, it will make some women more turned on by you, but that only applies if they can find it in themselves to be turned on by the way you look. plus, i am just not a funny or clever person. i have a sense of humor, but i can never make everyone laugh or be the center of attention. and i'm not popular nor do i have any special status. this wouldn't be a problem if i didn't look the way i do. women are generally attracted to 'handsome guys' or 'cute boys'. i don't have the handsome look, because ei have a nerdy look and i'm scrawny, and even though i'm 18, i don't look like a cute boy. i have thick eyebrows that make me look creepy and i'm hairy. because of this i can't go out and flirt with a women without her getting intimidated. what should i do?
