If you were told the following things about an eighteen year old young man would you think he might be abusive?
He's controlling. He calls his girlfriend every hour they are not together. He calls her names like fat and lazy. He was kicked out of school for fighting at age 15.
He drinks beer and when they fight throws things and has hit her.
Is he abusive or just in need of some anger management? Will he eventually turn on his stepchildren?

Well, she only started to like him when she foundout that he liked her. I liked this guy for a while and she would even give me advice what to do with him. When she foundout that I couldn't trust her again she talked to me but still don't trust her for anything. I hate how she pretends to care and be cool with eachother, she's so fake. I also hate how tries to be like me, she copies me from the way I dress, and how I act. She's the type who's inconsiderate, careless, lazy, and player. I'm the adventourous , athletic, fun, outgoing, caring type.She's older than me and sh'e the little sis' I never had. hey, well i been asking questions about my life on yahoo ask, and asking my friends in my life the same questions and always got the same answer.. this is really bring me down. its like everyone is right and im wrong. they want me to give up on my boyfriend who i love so much, it makes me wanna cry. but things are just getting worst.. he lives so far, and is about 4 years older than me. I love him very much, but he is a lot older than me, Im 26, our relationship has lasted for 2 years by now, and he is the only man I had sex with, maybe thats partially why Im crazyly in love with him... he says he loves me, and from the very beginning he always wants to marry me...but I dont want to bcos of the age difference, and also I dont know if its bcos he loves me or he just want to find a caretaker in his age...Im asian he is western, we met when I studied PhD in his country...I tried to break up with him, but I couldnt make it, Im emotionally not strong enough to do it...I dont know why I love him so much... now Im stuck in this situation... what should I do? Is age really that important? and does he, just some ppl told me, just want to find a caretaker? that really depresses me...

Sorry this is a bit long. . .

I am very much in love with a man that I have been seeing for 2 years. (We are both in our mid twenties, already graduated from univ.) The problem is that he is divorced from a woman who he had been in a long term relationship with and married to for a short time. This ex is unbearable and is in contact with him still, sending him public messages about how she loves him (even though she is in another relationship now as well). I don’t feel like it is okay to have this woman keep in contact with him (they have no children), saying these things to my boyfriend. Is this acceptable or am I being jealous and overreacting?

Also, now that he has had this failed marriage at a young age, he is reluctant to marry again and would probably only do so if I ever pushed the issue. I don’t ever want to force anyone to marry me. It is really upsetting to know that he wants to spend the rest of his life with me, but not marry me. I wonder if I should end this sooner despite the fact that it would really hurt and try to get over him and find someone who is more interested in marriage someday or wait longer and see if he comes around? I’m not interested in marriage right now, but will not wait forever.

I join the dating world recently because i thought I was ready but after 4 dates I'm beginning to think that maybe I'm not.
The dates all went the exact same way, in the beginning the guys seem nice and friendly but as the date is ending their true intentions come up. they are after one thing and as soon as they realize they wont get it they turn really rude really fast. I dress formally and the talks are always innocent so i don't know where they getting the signals.
My questions are:
Girls: If guys are all like this how can you go on dates without worrying about their true intension's?
Guys: Is it possible to go on a date with someone without he thinking "here's a chance to score"?

I subcontiously crave drama and have always been in dramatic relationships in the past. Now I am finally in a healthy one and I dont find it as exciting etc...

I dont feel like I "have to" hold his hand while walking in the mall cause maybe he was with that blonde last night. I know where he was last night cause he was with me....

So I feel as thogh I cannot "fall in love" with him current boyfriend who is so nice to me....What can I do to want this...I dont want to have to worry about cheating and lies when we are married, but I also want to feel that strong bond of love?!?!?
