it is a quite difficult question because the signals of the best friend and a lover are same. if he loves you then you'll be the first person he will like to share his happiness.just hang out with him and look for similar type of signals

a lot to know ! ,, calls u alot, tell you that he missed u, give u gifts, and talking with out getting booring ! and when he is with you always a BIG smile in his face! and if he has a proplme he talk to you or calls u ! coz u know every one in love face a proplme the first person he thinks about the one they loved

So many ways to answer this question. Does this person call you alot? always smile at you? revolves there world around you? talks about you to their friends? notice his/her body language, how they talk to you when you call them.. just starting looking for hints. Good Luck!

I can just suggest that you wait and watch. If his feelings toward you change over a period of time, i.e. he seems to get closer to you, then ask him if he loves you.
