My boyfriend's mom doesn't want me to date him cause she thinks I'm phony and she said that we argue to much. This all started when I graduated out of highschool last year and went on to college and got me a good job. Next thing I know she calls me and tell me that I can't see him anymore and its bad enough we weren't seeing eachother alot anymore cause of my hours at work and school. We did argue alot but it was because we couldn't see each other and because I was starting to feel like he was cheating on me. I tried talking to his mom but she didn't want to hear what I had to say. I'm 19 and he's 18 and we feel that we should be the one's to decide whether we want to be together or not not her. What do I do?

im 32
an old lonely grey man...

my wife & 16 yr old child argue all the time...about evrything and anything...whenever they get a chance, they grab it. and if i try to jump in or change the subject they SCREAM at me. so i thought it was safer to stop that.

i work 12 hours a day at a drama school, which also includes screaming, unnecesarry emotional crying from teenagers and rivalry between teachers...i think thats enough for a guy to go through evry day & im exhausted by the tiime i come home...but when i do....it starts again... a house of screaming women and a colicy 3 m baby...

so...QUESTION: how to stop this arguin...tried to speak to them...but nothin works...

My husband was married before for 6 years and he has 8yr odl daughter with his ex. We being married little over a year and have a 1month old son. Everytime we get into arguments he tells me that I'm becoming just like his ex wife. He talkes bad about her all the time and says he regrets ever marying. She used to cheat on him left and right was mean to him, left him with his daughter right after she was born for 6months and slept with her own cousin. She never went to H.S, she never hold a job and she used to spend his money left and right. I'm getting my B.S in afew months I respect him love him never cheat on him and even knows that although he has trust issue. I take care of our son. I mean our relationship is totaly different than what he had with his EX. But why is he comparing me to Her when i'm no thing like her. Please help it drives me crazy. I asked him and he said he was just mad? but he did it more than once.

My gf of less than a month broke up w/ me, and one of her reasons was she has stuff she has to keep to herself, and doesnt like lying about it. Another reason was she doesnt think I'll like her for long. Is there any way to convince her to open up, or at least I'll still like her? Or is this just wishful thinking on my part?

I'm a college freshman dude, and I have had a major crush on a girl, who is also a freshman, in my writing class. I think she's the most gorgeous lady I've ever seen. She is not the hottest chick you'll see, but I think she's really really beautiful. She has this aura of hotness and classiness; she is very mature and smart. She also looks like a girl you can easily talk to. In high school, I never met a girl like that. Anyway, she doesn't seem into me. I'm always the one that starts a conversation, and she doesn't really make an eye contact. I think I'm a pretty attractive, likable guy, but oh well. I am trying to get over her for now to see how she'll react. But it is so hard. I wanna talk to her whenever I see her. Decades later, I'll probably laugh about the situation I'm in right now, but I am so hurt. Right now I don't see anyone who's as attractive as her. Okay he was a week away from his divorce being finalized...we had known eachother and been friends for about 8 months...we went out, he said he didn't just want a piece. He wanted the whole package and that he really liked me.....I really liked him too.....Well we had sex once and he called the next day....Well it was about 3 days later he said that he was going to try to make his marriage work and his wife wanted him back and he was going to make it work for their little girl. i have a great co-worker, and we hit it off in all aspects. she is getting married in june to this great guy who i really like. wonderful guy and they have been dating for 5 yrs. now the question i have is this...we have been for the last couple of months giving each other hugs saying hi and goodbye. how it started, who knows, but we have been. the thing is, her hugs are getting more & more deep you can say. like i got an extra hug from her for no reason, she stood up and said "give me some of that lovin" and just came over and hugged me. some others, she gave me a hug goodbye and then put her head on my shoulder before we let go. another one was where after the hug, she put both of her hands on my face telling me how cute i was..like "you are so cute" etc. so my women friends say she has a thing for me, ive said no for the longest time, but now i am really starting to see it. is this a school girl crush? should i stop hugging her? i dont want her to like me b/c she has a man? opinons?

Okay, I have this friend, she can be really nice and stuff, she's my best friend and all but she tells me who to hang out with, she ditches me all the time and makes me feel really bad sometimes. v r in luv for 2yrs. all was fine till now. we belong to orthodox families. are families will never give permission for marriage. but we still thought when the right time came we will ask their permission. my bf was the one who used to say lets get married even if our parents doesnt agree. and i was the one who used to say we should respect their feeling also and should seek their permission even if it takes some time.cause we belong to middle class indian families. yesterday all of a sudden he decedided we cant get married for 5-6yrs cause he has 2 younger sis too. & if he marries me they will suffer cause they will not get grooms. this is because we belong to different castes. he says if i luv him i will wait. cause he thinks i can. yes my parents are supporative when i say i need time.but 5-6yrs!!!
i am 27yrs old. waiting for 5-6yrs means telling our parents at 32. i am the only child of my parents. they respect my decisions. but they too have their own dreams regarding my marriage
