If you are looking for your father and know nothing of him where can you go?
If you are looking for like your dad is there a way to run your dna against like a nation criminal dna. See from what I hear he did time so that is my only option to get a clue who he is because my mom don't know who he is.... what should or can I do?????

Find out his full name from your mother. If you question her closely she will tell you a list of two or three possible men who may be your father. Then do a search on Zaba.com for all 50 states. If he pays utilities anywhere in the U.S. you will find him. It is only then that you will be able to determine if he is your father. Write to him and request a strand of hair. That's all you'll need. Run the DNA and you will know if he is your Dad. Good luck to you, sweetie!

If your mom does not know,or just doesn't want you to know this will take you alittle longer but find out what town she was in when she became pregnant,what area of that town,where did she hang out and hopefully it is not a large city.
You can take a picture of her around the age she was and start asking questions to people close to her age that lived there at that time,you will be supprised what people remember and you may find out more than you want to know.

You at least need a name to start and then start looking, is he dead? is he alive? but you need something to start.If you had his name and where he was from then you could start looking for his parents your grandparents in that area by writing letters to them at a general post office address. Or post online on those looking for someone sites google looking for father and see what you come up with
