We have been best friends for 3 years almost and he's an awesome guy, and so mature. What concerns me is that it's pretty uncommon for a lady to be with a younger guy. How successful would such relationship be?

Well it is somewhat relevant to your age. If you are 14 and he's 12 then you looking at a major difference in age percentage. If your 30 and he's 28 the difference is much smaller and relationships are more common. The older you are the less the age gap matters... if you are significantly older you're probably much better off choosing someone younger anyways for the simple fact that men on average die earlier than women. But don't let age be your determining factor, if he makes you happy then go for it! As for it working out... well that will be up to the two of you to decide and how you make things work. Some people are meant to be together and some people are meant to just be friends. Best of luck.

2 years difference is not that much. I mean if you are talking 10 to 20 then there may be an issue but dont worry 2 years should be just like a normal relationship.

Who says it's uncommon? Would it make a difference if he was 2 years older? Think about it.
