I would just like to know what the general consensus is on the matter. Once you buy a diamond it's value drops significantly. Is America just buying into this monopoly to retain their social normalcy? Or is it the sacrific of buying something so expensive supposed to be significant in that it shows how much you love a person?

She's an awesome girl with a great personality. We've been seeing each other for a few weeks now. Anyway, a couple of days ago she revealed that she has a boyfriend, but now she likes me more than him.

I feel like a JACK-DONKEY.

Is a girl who does something like this good or bad news? Granted her boyfriend isn't the best guy in the world, I've met him (which totally wasn't awkward or anything), he's pretty annoying but seems like a nice guy.

I guess I feel like a heel for inadvertently doing this to another guy...

We have only had sex 4 times. The last time he came in less than a minute. He was embarrased and telling me that this doesn't usually happen to him. The next night, he did not want to have sex with me. My Questions are:

What is the cause of this?

We've been married 15 years, two kids etc. We have always been honest, loving and supportive of eachother etc. Before we got married my wife was exciting, energetic, fun and sex was wonderful. For the last 12 years or so things have steadily declined. I do all kinds of things to keep it interesting but she has never done anyting to make it exciting. I spend a fortune on weekends, clothes, lingere for her, vacations and the sex is so ordinary. She never initiates sex. Never. I have to ask, beg, or spend a fortune and even then I feel terrible for "asking" and this may sound strange but I acutally feel very uncomfortable after sex now because I feel like like she is simply "servicing" me. I know this sounds ridiculous but I really want her to want me and she says she does but I just don't feel it at all. Basically she just lays there or I position her. She is never agressive, passionate, creative etc. So by accident I met another womam, nothing has happened but I am thinking.

why do young teen girls nowadays let thier wee bfs put their hands up the skirts and etc in the middle of the street and bus stops? when i was young obviously we did that but it was always in our rooms, whats changed? also teen boys are going with girls who are way too young ie, boy 17ish girl 13 ish!

I am 7 monthes pregnant and in a seriouse relationship yet my mother still tells me im a chil and has always talked down to me. i try to explain to her i pay my own bills i bought my own car and im living a very responsible life so she cant expect me to take her scoldings all the time. i know she has deppression & bi-polar but is that an excuse to allow her to down talk me?

She is still obsessed with him and says all the time that their baby will bring him back to her. She tells me and him both that she loves him more than anything and she thinks that when he goes to see his baby that he is over there to see her and he has told her in front of me that he is there to strictly see that baby because she can't let the baby go anywhere because it is a new born and the doctor said not to.

Is anyone here a professor? If so, how would you show attraction (please spare me the ethical lecture, just assume you would do it - how would you go about it)?

My bf and i have been together on and off for almost 10 months.We just got engaged and i really love him.We were friends first before we dated and though he could be a jerk he was never this bad.Three months into the realationship he started with some of his illegal money making ideas(fraud/stealing).I thought he was kidding .His parents pay his college tuition/rm board and he lives on an allowance off of about 330 dollars a month for basic things he does not work.I am pretty sure he is going through with his schemes though because he is spending a lot of money (plasma T.V? etc.)I dont understand how he can have changed so fast?He used to value my opinion but now ignores me?

Lived as married couple for 2 yrs. Was kicked out of the house and have been living separately for the past 3 yrs. However, were are still married by law and currently going thru a divorce. I am one year older than my boyfriend. We have been together for a year now and i have been fine with not going out and spending most of my time with him. I am in my second semester of freshman year in college, and I have yet been to a club, party or anything. I barely have any friends on campus(mind you I live on campus). Now I want to go out but when I explain this to Him he always has this way of making me feel guilty. He tells he doesn't want be haging out with wild girls and dudes. I wonder sometimes does he think that I am a child who needs guidence and is easily influenced. Do you think he'd comply it if it was the other way around.whats going on? I love him but I feel so lost.
