Hello. I'm a 14 year old girl. I want honest opinions from people of ALL ages on the matter of dating. Do you think if a 14 year old is a responsible person that they can date and make good decisions on who to date? Do they have to tell there parents about the relationship? If you do not think that someone of that age should date what age do you think is good? Thank you for all your Answers! :)

OKay, I have this guy friend. STRICTLY friends. Well last weekend, we got drunk and had what he called "casual sex". Today I had to see him at school for the first time since it happened. And I couldn't even look at him. For him it was like it didn't even phase him. How can guys not give this any thought? How come it was so awquard for me?

My EX told me that he never loved his ex (the relationship right before ours) -- and they lived together for 4 years! How could he have never been in love with her (cmon, 4 years?!)? I should've seen that as the biggest RED flag ever (but I didn't). Before her, he said he never had a relationship that lasted more than 3 or 4 months. I was with him for nearly two years, and he never once said he loved me. I know now that he didn't. What is wrong with this guy? Seriously, what do you guys think is psychologically wrong with him? Looking for real answers.... ;-)

What does it feel when in love? He said he loved me and wish I can be his gf. Because of personal reasons, I rejected him though we have close contacts via sms all the while. I encouraged him to go after my colleague who just joined us. When she joined, I shared what I know with her. Within a few weeks time, he and she get together. I felt betrayed and sad. What's love? Is it something that change this fast? Did he really love me or take pity or me? Can I blame him for this or it's my fault? I can't help it... though I loved him very much. Was very sad ever since then. Can't face him or her. Mind in a maze...

I posted something like this a while ago, but I don't think I was being clear enough. This tour guide seemed really interested in me. Out of so many women on the bus, I was his main attraction (that in itself is a mystery). He stared at me a lot, smiled warmly, asked if I was comfortable, if I needed anything, made friends with my father (he let me go alone with my best friend to Spain), even informed me that I was beautiful. I remember how hard he tried to speak to me. Our conversations were very short and he seemed frustrated about it. The reason why I had to stick to small talk was because my Spanish sucks badly. Besides being shy, It's embarrassing. My father speaks better Spanish than I do....then again he grew up in Spain.
At the end of our trip, I made an impulsive decision. Why the hell did I do it? It defies logic. I stuffed a ring into a note. The note read: (my email) and "from Amira, the mute." There goes my self-deprecation. Well, I couldn't help but to be silent. My Spanish is crap.
He looked at me curiously....I walked very very quickly away before he said anything more.
Hiding behind a bunch of people, I turned one last time.
The guy stuck it in his pocket.....interested but confused.
I've got the feeling that I pissed him off. There was this incident when he asked if I spoke any other languages. I said farsi/arabic and English. A long pause ensued. Frustration passed over his face. "I was like you when I was your age, I liked reading and music. But you can't be quiet for the rest of your life."
I kind of wounded me. So I said nothing more, again.
Well, in the end, he never sent me a message.
How can someone start out being so charming and turn out so cold?

This is the 2nd time a guy has dissed me. I must have issues.

Ok. So, I know that this may sound trivial and all, but it is important to me.
My best friend who really doesnt open up very much was crying on the phone with me today and was asking me for advice for this boy she just can't seem to get over. I've told her everything from the whole, "there are plenty of fish in the sea" thing to "he wasn't good enough for you" thing. Nothing helps. I think it is because he was the first guy that ever really gave her the time of day, and so she wants the attention back that he gave her.
I suggested that she go out and party with a bunch of us, you know flirt a little, and maybe if she sees how many guys actually are attracted to her that she will build more self esteem and FINALLY get over that loser. I dont know. Maybe she'll get over him if she gets a new bf. I don't know what to do/say! Please Help!

My husband and his ex wife have older children. The divorce did not make them friends, nor will they be in the near future. They rarely speak, and I am NOT the favorite of the ex wife (hates me with a passion !!), but our oldest has just informed us that she is having a baby! We are very excited ! Herein lies the problem.
I don't feel that she should have to be the monkey in the middle on the purchases that are made for the baby, or that she should have to choose between us, if we should buy the same things.
So........I thought about a personal page (or something) where updates can be made on the progress of the baby, and a way for the Grandparents (3 sets) to know what the others are buying and don't necessarily have speak. To be able to list out purchases / projections on what they wish to purchase for the baby.

Well I just started work a few months ago,and me and him both trained together. He wanted to get to know me better right away and asked me some questions, like to you go to school, to have a boyfriend etc.., pretty normal things. Now at work, he goes out of his way to say hi to me, and talk for a few minutes, even if its just small talk. If we havent seen each other in a few days he hugs me for like 5 minutes. When he as to pass by the area where I work, he looks at me, and he likes to make a lot of eye contact with me. He asks if I'm still with my boyfriend very often, I feel like he likes me but since I do have a boyfriend he doesnt want to make a move.

We were friends for about 3 years but all the sudden once we hit 7th grade he started being REALLY MEAN. I don't know what's come over him. I never did anything but say hi and send him a funny video and he got pissed off.

Oh yeah and the video was a video of a car doing a backflip so that didn't make him mad.

or a broom. At first I was the one at home. Now I'm working 8 in a half hours a day. I try to give little hints, but he's either ignoring them or just doesn't want to do it. Don't get me wrong he works ten hour days and goes to school at night. I don't want to feel like I'm nagging but its getting om my nerves. When he cooks he leaves a big mess. It feels like I'm raising 4 kids instead of three. Oh I forgot to add he does wash clothes maybe twice a month.

This is the second time around for my fiance and I. My fiance and I are paying for the wedding and honeymoon entirely ourselves. We simply do not have any additional money in our budget to pay for a rehearsal dinner for anyone and neither of our parents are willing to provide financial support. That said, we have 1 maid of honor and 1 best man (not a large wedding party) and mostly out of town guests. We really would like to spend time with them and enjoy dinner the night before. How do we convey to guests that we want to spend time with them but they will need to anticipate the cost of their dinner and drinks?

I felt it was soooo rude!

My husband said in reply - "Go Do whatever whatever you want!"

My friend of 18 years got married last summer. I was talking on the phone with her a few months before the wedding and she started talking about how it was going to be a "family only" wedding, as if I already knew that. I didn't. I'm not her "family" so I didn't get invited to the wedding, although her friend of a few years got some kind of license to officiate the ceremony, so she got to go. (This bugs me because they could have used someone else and therefore not broken the "family only" rule.) Anyway, I am still really bothered by this. She is supposedly my best friend. She was one of my bridesmaids in my wedding (11 years ago)! I even paid for her dress because she was broke. I don't know if I should confront her, forget her, or just act like everything's ok. Plus, I'm feeling really lonely because I just quit my job to stay at home with my disabled baby. I really feel like no one likes me anymore. I used to have really good friends, but everyone has moved away. I'm at a loss.

I know I complain a lot. Sorry about that. But my teacher found out I cut myself so he told the consuler who told my mom and dad. Now my parents think I want attention from them which I don't. I told the consuler that my mom is too busy with art and my dad doesn't get home until 9 most nights so she thinks I don't get enough attention at home. Now my mom is taking me to the movies tomorrow and my dad is coming into my room saying "I never get to spend time with you. I'm not home long enough."


How could I fix everything?
How can I make it so my parents will leave me alone and not feel bad for ignoring me?

I’ve had the worst week of my life, I know you might take this as a way to get attention hell maybe it is, I’m not sure. All my life I’ve kept quiet pretty shy, had some g/f flings but one g/f had stuck with my through everything else. Always helped me out, was the hand when I fell, I’m not saying she was perfect far from it. I knew she had her… adventurous times when she would go out and cheat on me. Graduation is coming up, but I am not ready to graduate. I am graduating 5th grade and all my friends are going to a different middleschool. I only have 5 friends with me. I am going to see them again in High School, but I am afraid they would move somewhere. I don't want to leave my friends, they are the best things in the world, like Joe, who gives me his lunches.
