Well the only way to solve this issue is hire a housekeeper to help out cause you and spouse working long hours and there is not enough time to do much work around the house. It seemed that the both of you have or is doing your best and would benefit from outside help.

Sounds like you guys need to have a talked. I'd say something like things have been different around here. When I was staying at home I didn't mind keeping up w/ all the house chores, kids, etc, but now that I'm working it is harder. I would really appreciate you help. I know that you work hard and go to school, but if we each play a part then it won't be so bad!!! Hopefully this will open up communication and allow you both to discuss the house cleaning situation. And if that doesn't work. Quite doing it all. Let **** pile up and when he say something say well I tired to tell you I needed help and couldn't keep up, but your still not helping me so I guess this is how we have to live. Bet he'll do some things then!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck motivating your man!!!

Oh wow, I would suggest having a talk to him about how you feel. I would not suggest hints any more, I would flat out tell him, I need a little help honey, I cant do this all on my own. Make a chart with a list of everyones chores, and make sure it is filled out daily. Have the kids help out, a little hard work never hurt any one, even the little ones can help you fold towels or mate socks. I hope this information helps, i have been there before, and it takes work. good luck hun and god bless!

oh Wow, he does clothes twice a month? That's pretty good! Actually, I truly believe Men would help out more if they knew what to do. I don't think most men notice the things that drive us insane. I don't think they mean to be spiteful or seem lazy, they just don't get it. Talk to him honestly, let him know that you are desperate for help and then point out EXACTLY what needs to be done. Men are VISUAL, heard that before? Show him and ask him kindly what you need to have help with, not in a nagging way, but in a "desperately need help" way! Good Luck!

Men will be men & that shows what kind of guy he is. You should apply that to other things. I would love to help a gf wash dishes it could be time to talk especially if kids were around & thus we werent able to talk as much as we might say without kids. Like I said this laziness should be applied elsewhere. Did he recently move in? You had no idea he was lazy before? Crazy....

Sounds like you are both overworked .......alternate the dishes and cooking..tell him if he cooks you will clean and vice versa ..it will be a start on getting him used to sharing in the chores...continue adding things ..it may take time so be patient this is going to be new for him too......you can also make a list with the days of the week and what has to be done..include repairs and the car stuff...ask him to check off three he wants to do this week and you check off three..then continue adding to that ...your marriage is worth it ..be inventive to get him to help...

Sounds like my husband!! I can't stand it when he cooks, cuase of the huge mess I get to clean up afterwards... and He wont hardly ever wash his own laundry, he just keeps wearing the same thing day after day.. even when it's really dirty from his work.. It's disgusting!! I get so fed up I just do his laundry when I get a chance... Even though I have to clean everything else around the house... And do my own laundry, and our sons!!

Talk to him about it - if that doesn't work, leave whatever mess he makes until he does something about it (even if you can't stand it). If his dirty clothes are on the floor, make a pile that he will have to step over by the door that he uses to come into your home after work.
