okay there is this guy and all my friends (and his) say he likes me. but today he like called me a b*tch and all that stuff for no reason but then he started making jokes and seeing if i was laughing. so does he like me or is he just plain rude

To me, calling me names is not nice and I wouldn't take it, even as a joke. You deserve more respect than that. If he wanted attention from you, that is not the way to do it. I wouldn't even give him the time of day. That is disrespectful and childish and you are very correct, RUDE! You can find someone who will not even joke about it. Usually when you see that kind of thing, that is a warning flag.
I wouldn't give him a chance to date him. No guy should every be that disrespectful. You are worth more and deserve more. Time to move on before you made a mistake of giving him a chance. Good thing he showed his true colors before you got to know him better.

He may like you and is just not sure how to show it. But, that is disrespectful and uncalled for. Tell him that it is disrespecful to call someone names, even if you're just joking. This is especially true if he likes you. That is no way to treat a friend.
