I traced my father when I was 19 and we got on really well until his wife decided that I was not welcome in her house!! After that our friendship that we had dwindled. We are in touch but very vaguely. I carry his name and think I should change it but why would a man not want to get to know his only child???

I talked to my ex's best friend yesterday and she told me that my ex broke up with me because she was having commitment issues towards me but that she still loved me. I want to try and talk this out with her but my ex asked me to give her some space. I don't want to push her into talking to me because I don't want to intrude on her space. But I have the feeling that if I don't talk to her about this she won't will feel like breaking up with me is the right choice. How do I get her to talk to me about this without intruding on her space?

gahh ok. one of my close friends has been acting weird around me lately. Well not weird, but kind of indifferent and distanced. I wonder if i did something wrong or im just not sure. We used to talk alot and she has told me some things she would never tell anyone else. Like why is it that suddenly people change like that. only a week earlier we were the best of friends.

I was at the mall with a few of my friends and we would be walking & we passed this really hot guy & randomly kept passing him so me being nice smiled & like he was hot and he smiled back. So eventually as we were walking in circles I didn't see him anymore & my mom was waiting/standing at the door enterance at the mall so she could go bring me out to eat. So I guess he was standing there also with some girl & the girl he was standing with was like 'yeah go talk to her you talk to me' & he goes 'naw I can't talk to girls' so as she saw us coming the girl the guy was w/ goes 'GO ON!' & I was the the only person coming out '& my mom had been listening kinda to the whole convo with the guy & girl so she goes "Jenna say hello" I was confused but he was hot so I said "hey" & we had basic converstaion and seemed really nice & he lived just a little ways from my city& only two yrs older than me so we gave eachother our yahoo sn's & idk we only & 'hi' so far but DOES HE LIKE ME? even a lilttle

I am wondering what makes a marriage work? I recently got engaged with somebody and shortly after a someone else proposed to me with a huge rock. I feel so guilty but now I have two rings. The first one has severe jealosy issues we always fight on everthing. The second one was kind of a playboy and I had lack of trust issues, I am not sure if that will change. A few days ago I did something that I probably shouldn't have done, I went to this girls house and I asked her if she liked me more than a friend, she said "I don't know its hard, I like you as a friend though," Now I'm really stressing out that she might not want to hang out with me anymore because she might feel awkward around me. She usually calls me on Tues. and thurs. because she knows I don't have class on those days, If she dosen't call me on Tuesday, should I do something to say I'm sorry and Tell her that I don't want her to feel awkward around me, because even though I like her a lot I want her to forget what about because before this she used to call me and wanted to know if I wanted to hang out and to talk. I would call her but she can't use her phone bcuz she isn't getting along with her parents, and her number is listed as a private #. Am I stressing over nothing? I always was nice to her and we always had a good time when we did hang out. what should I do???

There is this girl who i really like and i have a feeling she likes me as well, but i'm not 100 % sure. she does sometimes look at me but there are occasions when she just simply ignores me. I am pretty sure she knows that i like her coz i stare at her. The other day she was walking and i stared at her, for a longer time than usual. she looked at me and then looked away, then again looked and looked away and she could tell that i was looking at her, which i was. Then i saw a small smile appear on her face, but did not look at me as she went into this room. There's this girl i like, we are friends..One time, she told me that she's planning to cut her hair to shoulder lenght!
