There is this girl who i really like and i have a feeling she likes me as well, but i'm not 100 % sure. she does sometimes look at me but there are occasions when she just simply ignores me. I am pretty sure she knows that i like her coz i stare at her. The other day she was walking and i stared at her, for a longer time than usual. she looked at me and then looked away, then again looked and looked away and she could tell that i was looking at her, which i was. Then i saw a small smile appear on her face, but did not look at me as she went into this room. So i want to know whether she is interested in me, and whether that smile was meant for me( i think she might be a bit shy ). or was she just trying to be friendly and polite ??

All women like positive attention (that's why G-d made them so beautiful - and all women are initially beautiful , until external things like drugs, alcohol, or hate change them, but is another point).
However, too much staring can creep out a woman.
The other thing that women crave is self confidence in a man.
In the Army I knew a short stocky overweight guy who reminds me of the "traveling trowl" on that discount travel commercial.
However, no matter where we went, he always would soon be in the company of beautiful and intelligent women.
His secret, as told to me, was that women admire confidence in a man over looks. If a plain looking guy has the self confidence to talk to a woman, he will do better than a handsome (usually self centered) guy.
Bottom line - be confident, but not cocky. Talk to her in an honest manner and LISTEN to what she has to say. Too many guys sit and tell the woman all about themselves and when she walks away, they know little about her.
And you will do fine!

Why don't you just ask her? Surely it would make things better for you...If you're that desperate to know. If you don't ask her, you will never know...And maybe even get the wrong ideas whenever she stare/look at you or smile.
