Why do girls think I am gay?

Question

I have never fancied a man in my life have children and slept with a lot of women. Why is it then girls think I am gay when I go out it`s driving me mad

The only thing i can think of is I`m friendly I look a bit like José Mourinho the Chelsea manager and I didn`t say all girls did I just get it everytime I go out and none of my friends do.

It doesn't matter if a man (or woman) has children or has slept with a lot of members of the opposite sex. There are many that do and are still gay. My guess is that you could be over concerned about your appearance. Or that you hold your pinky up when you drink. :) Or that you are a very sensitive man. Woman get confused... I know I do. I want a sensitive man in my life but I'm always cautious and wondering if they are gay. It could stem from the fact that my uncle married my aunt, had 4 children, lived a "normal" life and then the night before Father's Day left his children and wife and was no where to be found. The kids were devistated when they awoke and went to give him his presents. They eventually located him in San Francisco a few years later and he was living with another man. A few years after that he moved back here so that his children could take care of him while he was dying of AIDS. Sad but true story. And before he left, all of us thought he was a wonderful, sensitive husband and father. So for whatever reason people seem to think you are gay... I'm sorry. But I know for myself that I desire a sensitive, caring, loving man but in my mind I'm always leary that he may be gay. It's sad for the man and for me. So... if you're really not gay then I apologize for all the women who think you are gay. It doesn't seem fair but there is a reason for everything and eventually you'll meet the one for you and you'll be thanking your lucky stars that you didn't end up with a woman that's always thinking in the back of her mind... don't where make up(obviously), pink, don't cut your hair all stylish just a short military or fade cut, I am not sure how you tlk but maybe record your self and see if you sound gay, and try to fix it with some ruff southern slang or cussing. get a goatee maybe that will help you look more manly. Do what you gotta do because i would hate that if people thought of me like that. Also check how you laugh or use you hand gestures. I'm sure they are just making fun but just check it out or ask a woman why she would think that.

I don't know you so I can't say, but if you're not gay then a comment like that wouldn't bother you.
I've always found that the more macho a guy tries to act, the more insecure he must be deep down.
If you're comfortable with your sexuality you don't have to "prove" anything. But the fact that you take being accused of being gay so seriously, maybe you have to ask yourself why that is ...

do you lisp? are you a manly man? what is in your line of conversation...fashion and cooking tips?

most women know if a man is a man or a girly man..as soon as they smell your after shave or parfume? they way you walk?
your dress? are you checking out the mirror too much?

who are your friends and mates? if you cook better and smell better then most women you may have the solution..

Well honey without seeing or hearing you that would be hard to answer.Maybe you need to make some more sophisticated friends.I know I have a cousin,when we were kids he was small for his age and didnt act very tough so my Father thought he was gay.He isnt.You know the truth thats what counts!

i think if a man gets on with girls really well and speaks to them without trying to get into their pants people would think you was gay. But there is a difference between a nice guy and a gay guy.

Do you hang out with a lot of gays, or anything like that? Also, one kid in my class talks too much and asks too many questions and nobody likes him, and eventually they start calling him gay. If your known as a "nerd" or "loser" than they might call you gay for that. Other than that, Í'm not sure what to tell you.
