... main issue is lack of communication and we both admit it. I have been with him for 5 years and I realize it is the most difficult, but still the only true love of my life. I totally lost myself in his priorities and we practically became roommates over time. I feel used, and realize it only happened because I allowed it to happen. He now wants to go on a trip to make up for lost time, but I feel empty and as if there is nothing left to repair. Has anyone been in this situation and what shall I do? Letting him go feels like the greatest mistake I can possibly make, but keep loosing myself in a relationship with no affection is no better idea.

Am I too demanding? And shall I go to that trip even if I feel that there is nothing left to repair?

A friend of mine at work and I had a fight. We haven't talked for over a month since he told me that I was too weird for him to be friends with and that it was best that we ignore each other since I began to like him as more than friend. The thing is he already has a gf overseas. I've been ignoring him, but he keeps throwing glances at me. She does'nt have any style and the colors do not cordinate.She is a complete disaster when it comes down to getting dressed.She is wearing pocka dots today.A couple of days ago she looked like she stepped out of the 80s.She's only 32 and very pretty but she is color blind or something.I have bought her tons of clothes but she just does not know how to wear them.Ladies please help!What can I do?

ok, ive been on dates before, but never a blind date where i had never met the person before. A guy i work with was telling me that he wanted me to meet this girl who he thought i would be interested in and vice versa and i said that i was up for it. Im getting her number on Monday and figured i would either call that night or tues night to get a feel for her. I dont know what she looks like and she doesnt know what i look like so i was thinking for our first meeting to keep it simple and short since we may not hit it off. I was thinking we could go to starbucks, even though i dont drink coffee and dont normally go to starbucks, so that we could talk for like an hour, and then if everything goes good have a second date which would include an actually dinner, and then move on from there. How does this sound, and does anyone have any other suggestions for a blind date. I thought about bowling or the zoo, but figured those were better suited for a second or third date

My ex and I are still good friends, but lately she's been talking about more personal stuff. She asks me what one thing I can never live without? She mentions other guys when she talks to me. She still calls me by her petname for me. She talks to me about her breasts occasionally and how much attention she gets. She still wants to move in with me and she always use "we" or "us" even when we're alone. There's also physical attraction (ie: holding hands and she cuddles up to me shoulder). Call me crazy, but I think she wants a relationship. But whenver I try to mention it, she always changes the subject or doesn't want to talk about it altogether. What should I do and does she want a relationship?

My best friend and I both like the same guy, but I think he likes me... He looks at me all the time... The same friend who likes him says that he likes me as does everyone else.But my best friend is just that, MY BEST FRIEND.If he were to ever ask me out I would have to say no. i found my cousins on myspace, (i live in the states) and they live on the other side of the globe

When i was 5 yrs. old i visited them , and played, talked, laughed with them, that was 10 yrs. ago. I visited them just last sumer, they were shy n i was too, CUZ THEY WERE, it was awkward cuz we were BARELY talking to eachother.

now i found them on myspace, i don't feel like adding them cuz like I BARELY talked to them when i last saw them, and the thing is, i might go back to visit them next year, and when i see them again, say if i do add them on and become very 'talkative' on the internet, but once i see them , it'll be like BAM!, QUIETNESS / AWKWARDNESS! (some ppl r very much like that)

so what should i do? what would u do?
i just dont want to visit them in real life again and it'll be Very QUIET again..

ALSO WOULDN'T IT BE WEIRD IF I DO ADD THEM, CUZ I LIKE SEARCHED THEM, isn't that kinda WEIRD/'STALKERISH',wouldnt they

My boyfriend & I were only together for 3 months & everything was great then out of nowhere he broke up with me. He was the one that had fallen hard & said that I was his soulmate & that I was the most important person in his life. He had talked about proposing to me at the end of this year. We spent every day 2-gether & had a wonderful relationship. The day he broke up with me was like any other, he brought me flowers as he always did. He talked about how he couldn't wait to meet my mom which he planned to do the following week, that was his idea. He also spoke of his excitement to spend the week with me while my roommate was on vacation. We went to an event & everything was fine. I had been worried about him b/c his mother may have cancer & obviously he was upset. He lost his dad 6 yrs ago & he has no siblings, so he would be alone if she were to pass. One minute he was fine, the next he picked a fight w/ me, told me his feelings about me had changed & that we were through. Thoughts?

She was never like this until she met this boy and since then she has gotten into trouble at school - 4 detentions in 7 weeks. Until this she was never in any trouble at all. We have forbidden her to see him and while she claims to have broken up with him she has lied to us repeatedly about this. We have tried turning off her cell phone, grounding her and she still manages to contact him. She will use her friends to help her sneak around and lie to us. When she gets caught in her lies she gets very angry at the person who catches her and strongly insists that they have broken up. They have not we have so much proof and she lies her way through all of it. She lies to her friends her co-workers, us and teachers. This is getting out of control and only getting worse. How do we break her of this compulsive lying and how do we get this boy out of her life if she is not willing to do it herself?

I like him he likes me, but 3 problems, Problem #1. We've known each other for at least 6 years, and were like siblings. Problem#2. Our parents cant find out because their best friends. Problem#3. I really like a guy who is a year older than me. He said he likes me too. We have been talking for a few days on and offline. 2 days ago was his semi-formal. He hasnt called or talked to me since. I have been having an emotional affair with a man who lives over 1600 miles from me. I have fallen in love with him but I am an unhappily married woman. My husband makes me feel so overlooked and has degraded me through the years. We had marriage counceling and nothing changed. He just found out about my affair and he is crushed.
