My best friend and I both like the same guy, but I think he likes me... He looks at me all the time... The same friend who likes him says that he likes me as does everyone else.But my best friend is just that, MY BEST FRIEND.If he were to ever ask me out I would have to say no. She told me she wouldn't care if I said yes but I don't want to hurt her. I don't want to hurt him either though, cause if he does like me I would have to tell him I like him back right?
Does he like me?

of course u should say yes if he will ask u..if u both like each other then where is the point of hurting ur friend.. and she is also saying that she wont mind it. remember one thing, its very difficult and rare to be loved by the same person whom u like in life. and opportunity knocks the door once in the life only. u will get many best friends and u can live without the one ( if the situation will come) but u love only one person in life and can never get him back.....!!! all the best...if u need any further help u can personally also contact me... this sort of puts you in a hard spot. I admire you for asking this question. It shows that you really care about your best friend. I would say hands off!! Even though your friend says it's okay she will more that likely feel all weird about it. If he does ask you out, tell him the truth. It will flatter him and he will honor you for your initegrity. Friendship wins this battle... Sorry! Lol! Now the two of you can continue admiring him from afar (with no hard feelings).

Tough one. Your friend may seem okay with it, but she's probably a little hurt. I'd say tell him "no." You may be a little hurt at first, but at least you'll have your best friend there with you. Boyfriend and girlfriend relationships almost never last, so why take the chance and possibly lose your best friend? Go for the sure thing.

if you like him and he asks you out i don't see what the problem is, go out with him. how is it going to hurt your friend if she doesn't have a chance with him anyways? she'll get over it.
