I been talking to this guy for about a month he calls me everyday and we talk for hours, he said he wanted to met me and i got scared and i told him he will not like me, but he said he does not like me for my looks he calls me everyday and texts me to and he wants to see me he says he thinks he in love with me. Should I see him i think i have feelings for him he is 19 and I am 18 i talk to his mom already to what should i do u wants me to live with him to but i not sure if i want to HELP ME!!!

I watch teenage soap operas like "The OC," and the teenagers are passionately in love with eachother. They claim "You are my destiny!" and seem madly in love.

2. Can this type of "love" exist in your reality with someone else IF YOU WANT IT or does it 100% not exist.

I mean, I all the advise I get on making friends says to put yourslef out there. Ok, I'm doing that, but no one else does it. Like, I never see other people out trying to make friends, they're nice, polite, some even seem to like me. I've also never had anyone new appoach me without me approaching them fist (like in classes, at events...), even at orientation(university student). Are most other people shy? (no, I'm not being pushy, coming on too strong, etc.) Has anyone else noticed this?

It's not like I really mind, it's just weird.

I am 16 and my boyfriend is almost 18. He doesnt know that my mom (as far as i understand) doesn't want me dating right now. But she isnt too clear. Last year when i had a boyfriend she knew about it and was against it and pretty much made us break up. Then whenever i would mention going out with guys just to hang out she says "they better not think you are their girlfriend or something" I would feel bad sneaking around with him like i did with my last boyfriend especially since that was pretty immature. I really like this guy but i dont know how to continue dating him without my mom approving. Another problem is last year when i would just hang out with juniors(when i was a freshman) she wouldnt allow it at all. so, what do i do? Is there anything i can say to her or do?

I really really like this guy and I'm attracted to him. We'd sometimes play fight, touching each other and stuff and talk to each other.

Suggestions on how to not come on too strong and tell him non-verbally that I see him as boyfriend material not a fling or someone I'd have a one night stand with.

He's not someone I'd have a one night stand with nor a fling. I want to get serious with him.

You know I rarely blush and when I told my mutual friend that I am interested in him, I blushed really bad and we both laughed.

Suggestions and tips and Do's and Don'ts would be great!

We're both in college and we both live in the dorms, I'm 22 if that helps any.

OKAY, let's say your a dude in your 20's, you've never had any "girl experience" in your life. You've been in love with your best friend for two years & recently expressed how she feels the same for you. She's almost everything you want in a girl - she's herself, confident in her own sexy way, and she's a good girl BUT your life is stressed out right now (school, work, bills, immaturity) - What would you do? Do you want to wait until there's a more perfect time? Do you want something "real and serious" with her but now's not the right time? While I would much rather meet someone with whom to begin an actual relationship, the fact that, despite my best attempts, I have been unable to attract the romantic interests of a girl in over three years has convinced me that it is illogical for people like myself to hope for such a thing.

Based on this observation, I have recently begun attempting to meet women in bars/clubs but have had no better luck there.

Other guys seem to be able to easily approach women in these establishments, introduce himself, and the girl immediately lights up and begins socializing with him.

On the other hand, when I walk up to girls in these establishments, say 'hi' and ask them how their doing, they usually appear to be either annoyed that I dared to talk to them or just uninterested.

I was wondering if any of you might have any advice on how to approach and talk to women in bars.

The more specifics you could provide, the better.

I am an engineer in the US who recently finished a Masters,
who's getting tired of his job & soon wants to do an MBA
for a mid career switch.

#1 is about a 5-6/10 on looks. If dresses well, she'll be a 6-7/10.
I personally prefer a 7-8/10. Nature wise she's 10/10 (more like 20/10).
She's fun to be with. Smart, naughty in all the right ways, active,
energetic and sporty. Career-wise she hasn't made it big so far.
She's planning to come to US to study further but looks like she'll
struggle to find a good job based on her field of interest. So my MBA
would be on hold too. I don't think I can study after another 3-4 years.

#2 is beautiful, finishing a PhD in US in engineering disciple & should
easily manage a stable job. Looks wise, she is 7-8/10 but talk-wise
she's kinda reserved. At times, difficult to keep the conversation
going. Marrying her would make parents happy as she's docile and
softspoken. She'd get a decent job soon & then I could easily study
full-time.

Girls, please advise. I really wanna aim for happiness & stability.

I have been friends with this guy since I was in elementary. We dated as children. We hadn't seen eachother since I was 14. In January we saw each other. He confessed that he never stopped liking me. We started dating. Things got serious, but we stopped dating for a million and one reasons. Well I avoided him for as long as I could and we just ended up back together. Well now we are doing the same thing all over again. We avoided each other for as long as we could and today we just had to see each other. What should I do. I love him, but before me was this other girl who refuses to let him go. I know he has some feelings for her and I am not the type to compete. I'm working for a helicopter maintance company works on MD 520N mostly.

Planning on going to MCC or ASU for aeronautical management technologies.
BS

Joining the Army as a warrant officer.
Flight training, BCT basic combat training and test etc.

Full time job, soon full time college.

I don't really hang out much, just because I don't want to. Had a love, she doesn't want to go out etc, moves to atlanta, ga with family.

I was homeschooled, but, i am still cool, in fact too cool sometimes i embarass myself, so I love to spend time with ONE girl. And im not lonelly, etc, i have fun with her only.

And well, thats what I feel now.
But ahould I even consider a girl right now? Plus starting a relationship would be hard, especially when your starting college soon.

But I really miss that, 6 mos, with small relationships here and there, ever since I broke up with my 2 year gf. Now i'm wanting to start where I left off at, but with a different girl.

My bf left our apt early this morning, he said he was going "for a ride". When he got back I told him to tell me where he went. He said that he looked through a few stores for the ring and that he'd like it if I went w/him. We went to 3-4 more stores, but every time I'd bend over to look in the case... he'd walk away w/out helping. Why?

After this happened about 2 times, I called him out. He didn't really have a good reason.

Although, later in the day he kept talking about "how excited he was for me".

It was kind of embarassing to stand there picking out my own engagement ring, not knowing what he likes or what his price range is.

Like, the kind of feeling that makes you feel warm and loved for some odd reason, and watched by him. If a guy or girl liked you, wouldn't you be able to tell from your own feelings?

I was with my boyfriend for a year and a half he brought up marriage, moving in together, sharing a life, and everything. Hes not from Cali, so he even flew me home twice with him to meet his whole family. I thought everything was perfect and I found the perfect guy until.
A few days ago he told me he wasnt happy with himself, he feels like a part of him is missing and he needs to find himself. I agreed to give him space but he said he cant do it while hes with me. I know theres no one else. Anyway he said he still wants to call me and talk to me, and be there for me but that were just not together right now. He said he still loves me and just doesnt know what he wants to do with his life, hes stressed with school, job, moving, and us going through a long distance thing right now and he doesnt want to cut me out of his life. All he keeps telling me is that hes loves me he knows i love him and we will just have to see what happens. I dont know what to do...
