In addition to everyone elses answers; yes, check him for scents, but note if he's been at work all day and smells just like he got out of the shower he probably has.
Trust your gut! If you think he's cheating he probably is. A girls intuition is usually pretty good. But don't act like a bi&ch that will only push him away more. And..if you do catch him in the act, don't put up with it. If he cheats once he'll do it again and you obviously don't want someone like that and you can do better.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out if he is screwing around. If he has changed his habits, like he takes a shower when he comes home from something and he doesn't usually do this. Or is he funny about sex all of a suddent and can't give you a good excuse why? You could set him up, be in a closet and have a friend really come on to him, and then come out and say I knew it, but would that really cause more conflict or would it tell you the truth? this is only a question you can answer. Follow him around yourself and have a neighbough know whats going on to help you figure it out. Dress up as a different woman and come on to him with a wig and different makeup and then give him a cell number that he doesn't know about or borrow your friends for the night and see if he calls it. Life is too short to live with regret, so believe in what you are doing and do it because it will help you and not because you want to proove him wrong. Do it with love. You have to sit back, keep quiet & wait - you will find out if you're on his tail. Be patient. If he thinks you have no idea he'll be less defensive & leave more things around. Mobile phone bills are great if you can get hold of his - they tell you all calls, times of calls & the numbers the calls are made to. You could also check his mobile phone for photos or text messages. The fact that you already feel he is having an affair means he probably is. Best of luck - I only found out about my partner having an affair last week after been sus for a very long time.

Look for these signs:
1) Coming home late.
2) Eating out a lot without you.
3) Working later than usual for a long period of time.
4) No sex, or lackluster sex, between you for a long period of time.
5) His behavior towards you deteriorates.
6) You see him with someone in a compromising position.
7) You find stuff in his pockets; tickets, credit card receipts for hotel stays, etc.
8) You find that he lies to you about his whereabouts.
9) He doesn't want you to come with him to places/events/activities often.
10) You catch a STD from him, and/or...
11) You ask him and he confesses.

Ask the person directly. If you can't do that, watch out for perfume smells, do they come home smelling fresh from a shower, restaurant bills, money being spent with no explanation, unreliable, always late, too busy at work. I cannot believe the number of people who get caught via the cell phone, messages and calls. Have a quick look when person is not around.

In the first place..why would you want to be with someone..you feel is cheating on you..yet alone waste your time and energy..chasing this person down.. to try and catch this person up in a lie..because the bottom line is..you either trust this person or you do not..if you do not trust this person..then why be with someone you do not trust?
