Ok...So, I really like this guy. He even admitted that we had something between us. He is 2 years younger than I am and he left for school last fall. He is now all away across the country and barely gives me the time of day yet says he still cares for me. But, yet he never calls never visits nothing. I bought plane tickets to go see him but he told me he would be mad if i went out to see him. I gave him my heart. Should I move on?

Is it selfish to want to retire and live in a place of your dreams ,several states away.( with a second husband) But I feel horibile guilt of leaving, I help them out alot,(not that they are doing anything bad, just financial stuff) I feel really quilty if I leave, they depend on me so much,(i help them out a lot) but. I really do want to retire and move with my husband.I love my kids,and grandkids,so much, but i also love my husband. If i quit my job, I wont have the same money to help them out. I'm confused, I love them so much, but I want a life too , my husband is even older than myself by 10 years and is ready to retire. His children are doing well financially, so that is'nt a problem for him, but sometimes mine do need help, and if i do this ,I won't be able to help them the way I do now. I'm not sure what to do?

I have a friend whose husband flirts with other women. He tells her that he doesn't want to be married or have a kid (they have a 2 month old son) right now and then takes it back later. What is wrong with people? Does it mean nothing more then a tax break these days? What is the point of getting married if people are going to cheat and/or not want to be in that relationship?

To make a long story short. My father is an alcoholic. I have not spoke to him since July. He has tried calling, but I ignore the phone call. I stopped talking to him after he knocked my mother out and beat my 16 year old sister up. ( I live in physical & mental abuse my entire life) He is getting help right now with anger management and AA classes. I think I am ready to talk to him to try to help him, but what is the best way to approach this situation. I want to talk to him, but I want him to realize how much he has hurt me and the family. Any suggestions??

I have a child out of wedlock and later found out the mother was bipolar. I have strong suspicion that the mother of my child has trapped me into getting her pregnant, but I try to set aside our difference for the sake of our child. I told her there was no guarantee, but we tried to work things out through marriage. After 5 years of marriage, we continue to grow further apart even after attending services at church all these years. Can I still grow as a Christian even after going through a divorce and starting over with a new family.

ok, this might be an awkward story. i have a boyfriend. there's this guy, whom is my bf's friend. he said he really loves me. he even cry to proof he loves me so much. he's very sweet, caring, but a very sensitive guy. for a little while, i feel the same thing when the time i felt the jealousy between he and his new gf. he said that's just a pity relationship and he just want to payback his jealousy between me and my bf. he said he'll break up with his gf b'coz he doesn't want me to be jealous again. i feel bad for her. my bf doesn't have a clue about this. i feel terible. be at the same time, not at all. b'coz i know he's cheating on me as well. huh, guys...

I met this guy at work who works in another department today. I met him near this compressor where we throw away cardboard boxes from our departments. He said something and then I smiled at him and he smiled back. Then, he introduced himself to me and gave me a handshake. Then he starts helping me with my cardboard boxes and I said "thank you." Then he says, "well, I was always been taught chivalry and to help a woman out. Then I say, "aww thats sweet." Then he says, "one woman told me chivalry is dead." "Then I said to her, well, you just killed it." Then we both laughed. Then I offered to help him out with his and he told me that I didnt have to. After I helped him out a bit, I left and said, "see ya" and walked away. So, I"m thinking was he trying to hit on me or just being friendly? What should I do next?

One day I happen to spot this girl and she's gorgeous. I happened to pass her a few times and i felt we had an unspoken connection...there was something about her. This seemed kind of wierd to me so i wanted to intoduce myself, but couldn't because i felt i was going to say something stupid and i didn't want to screw this one up. So i guess i played it cool and i know she did too. So one day my friend and i were standing outside conversing while she appears with one of her girlfriends. We made eye contact for what seemed forever and introduced myself. She seemed kind of shy but regardless she was smiling the whole time then right after she took off with her friend. The next time I saw her, I was going to say hi but she completely ignored me. I thought "ok maybe she didn't see me." the next time i saw her i looked at her and smiled but she didn't even look at me kept on walking. I sort of ignored her after that. Ok i have been seeing this guy! He is 31 and i am 21. He lives about 4 hours from me! He says he likes me a lot and wouldn't hurt me! Well he used to call a lot and text me a lot now he doesn't! I know he owns his own business and is in the military so that eats up a lot of time. But when he calls he is usually in his car or on his way home form work so he says. Sometimes he doesnt call or text me back. I think he might be up to something! We are just talking right now we really haven't considered being together but he said he wants to date me! I just feel a lil something is going on. Am I being too insecure from past relationships? Or does everyone else think what i think?
