Well getting with the ne girl will make you even more confused i suggest talk to your ex about your feeling and trying to work it out unless your relationship ende due to buse or cheating or something like that, but most relationships that have ended are "mend-able" I would just try to work it out and if it doesnt work move on because its not healty to feel like ths ive done it before.

You really shouldn't date someone if you have strong feelings for someone else. It is unfair to both you and your girlfriend. This doesn't quite mean that you should necessarily go back to your ex. Give it a little bit of time before you decide and don' t rush back into a relationship. It also depends on why you and your ex broke up in the first place. Keep in mind that there still may be some hostility between you and your ex in you do date again. Overall it is your choice and you have to follow your heart. If you do decide to date your ex make sure that you talk to her about how you feel and get any concerns out of the way first and try to rebuild a friendship first. If you go out with the new girl, make sure that you have decided that you are not interested romantically in your ex. Good luck. Ps. I dated my best friend too and it ended tragically as well so I understand where you are coming from : (

What was the reason why you and your ex broke up in the first place? If it was for a good reason then consider dating the new girl. If you and your ex were to get back together could u both work out the problem that caused u 2 to break up in the first place? I hope that helps some.

Usually if you break up with someone, there was a good reason. It's easy to forget the problems and remember just the good times. However, think back why you broke up. If you still feel this is a legitimate concern, then consider the new girl. If you feel that perhaps you made a mistake, then you could try working things out with your ex.

I would sort things out in your head first before asking this new girl out. No sense going into something when feelings still exist for the other. Since I don't know why you and your ex broke up, I can't tell you if it's a good idea or not to go back to her. Good luck.

well it depends on how close you are w/ your ex. is this new girl so interesting that you would rather go out w/ her than your ex? or consider this: you already went out with your ex, (obviously) so maybe you should try someone new. and if it doesn't work out, you have your ex to turn to. this is coming from a girl who's been in situations like this before.

go for the new girl. it can help you get your mind off of your ex. if you fell like you still like ur ex too much tho, then dont go for the new girl. you dont want to hurt her. figure out whick one you like more. if you could be with one girl all the time, who would you choose?

Is it that you think you can't be happy unless you are with your EX. (Ex's are Ex's for a reason) Let it go. Stop torturing yourself. You deserve to be o.k with some one else.

Why do you have to choose just one? Date 'em both! Juggle two girlfriends for a while until you figure out which is right for you or until a hotter chick comes along.
