I have a child out of wedlock and later found out the mother was bipolar. I have strong suspicion that the mother of my child has trapped me into getting her pregnant, but I try to set aside our difference for the sake of our child. I told her there was no guarantee, but we tried to work things out through marriage. After 5 years of marriage, we continue to grow further apart even after attending services at church all these years. Can I still grow as a Christian even after going through a divorce and starting over with a new family.

Don't see why not, there are murderers on death row who killed their entire families and maybe a dozen other peoples, raped and murdered children and ate half of the community and are accepted into the christian faith don't think a lil divorce will be held against you somehow lol

Don't listen to all those sterotypes saying you have to do this and that right to be a Christain I am a Christain and don't believe in all the bs the tell you have to follow these rules. If you were born a Christain you will die a Christain unless you convert to a new religion. .I believe as long as I believe in God and do good things in my life and also expect Jesus in my heart that all that matters. I hate when some people say I am Christain and I have to go to Church and never sin to get to heaven , Such bullshit. People make mistakes in there life . People sin not on purpose but it human nature to make mistakes and by getting a divorce it has nothing to do with being a Christain. Christainity is a religion and not some cult. There are some people who take religion way to far instead of teaching others about God they set standards for others and therefore force their beliefs on people which is not what God wants. God just wants you too expect Jesus Christ and do good in your life and he will forgive you for your mistakes. For your answer yes you can it does not matter who you marry or what mistakes you make . Its better you and her see others I have Christain friends who have made the same mistakes as you and they move on and meet some one new and get a new family. You are basically punishing yourself because you probably force yourself to believe that you have to be perfect to be Christain. Please move on with your life and enjoy your new family your kids should be first thing in your life then new wife. Then ex wife last. Yes you are still a Christain no matter what you do.

Yes, you can still grow as a christian. Is counselling an option? Has she been medicated for bipolar.
I think you have to look at what can be saved, if she re marries and your little girl is calling someone else Daddy how will thatmake you feel? God doesn't like divorce but he doesn't punish us because of it. Marriage is so much like a roller coaster. Start thinking of the positive things you like about your wife. Pray that God will help you feel nice things about her again. It worked for me.

Absolutely, but keep in mind just attending church isn't going to be the answer to try to repair a marriage/relationship, usually it takes more.

A counselor or other professional who is not in the relationship and you can talk freely to and can help identify issues and possible solutions.

Do not think that attending church or reading the bible alone will fix things, God gave us abilities for a reason, and a counselor's ability is to help you in tough situations like these.

Yes, Christianity is a religion and you can not lose your faith in God by going though a divorce. There is nothing set in stone that says OH you have a divorce bad, no heaven for you. It is all about what you believe in your heart about the deity not what everyone tells you to believe.

I don't know what church you go to but in the church of my choice you sure can.
I was told that god doesn't want us to live in hate or no love.
How can she trap you? Was it not you that did not use portection?
Good luck

Sure you can. The only unpardonable sin is not believing in Christ dying for your sins. Good luck with your new family. Will be praying for you
