No. How can the person be "Perfect" if there is no connection? How old are you?
Are you looking for a life partner or just someone to hang around with? If you are looking for a life partner, NEVER JUST SETTLE; keep looking until you know that the person is right for you. There will be a connection, you will know it.

OMG!!!!!!!! I am totally connected with this!!!!!!!! Okay, so I really like this guy, and he likes me too, so I asked him out and he said yes like immediatly.. but now I feel like I don't like him, even if he's perfect... He really cares about me, but I don't like him as much as I did before we started dating... It sucks, but I'm sticking it out.... I'm still waiting for something good to happen, but when nothing happens, I'm just gonna tell him I don't like him as much as he likes me, and that it wouldnt be fair for him because he is such a great guy that he can find someone sooo much better!!!

ive dated people that others thought were great for me... they had most of the qualities i was looking for, but i just didnt feel that way about them.
it's totally normal...sometimes people who seem great for you are actuall boring...you can't make yourself love someone just because they seem perfect.
ive learned, that the people i least expect are actually closer to "perfect" for me.
basically, let your heart lead you and not your head.

no.. don't settle for anyone who you don't feel a connection with. i will wait forever until i find someone that i do connect with if i have to.
