My very recent ex and I where together for 5 years. He has always had a drink problem and I left him due to him going on three day binges where he didnt come home and drank whisky until he passed out near dead. I though leaving may prompt him into getting help as we said we would stay friends as I wanted to help him to help himself. He admitted a problem but does not like AA classes. Where can he go from here? he is 28 and does not drink everyday but binges at times of "stress" he says he drinks as he cannot control his emotions. He is 28 and unemployed, lives with his dad and does not want to work or have a family of his own etc. He seems to have stuck at 18 yrs of age. what can I do as I am concerned about him dying

there are always complaints about people not liking their in laws.. or having problems with their in laws..

I think that if people realized these people are not just your in laws
they are your family now..
so they deserve to be treated that way

so suck it up and deal with it!

i get a long with mine just fine.. :) we dont' live near them.. but i think of them as family and they think the same about me.. i think :)

his best friend.I told him to stop flirting with her because they hung out once alone behing my back. He told me he'd tell her to stop flirting. Eventually he told her and she still flirts with him. Then I told him to cut off all connections because I didn't feel comfortable with their relationship because she didn't know how to control her feelings. She also hates my guts and talks about me to a lot of girls. Point is, he hasn't stopped talking to her. I know before we were going out they both had feelings for eachother, and idk if they still do. Should I call it quits?

* Also, I blame him for not stopping this.He is the one in a relationship, not her.

You love this girl with all your heart and she decides to take a break makes it clear that she wants no one else. She's devoted to making the relationship work but needs to get herself together. The guy completely avoids her.
Yet it seems the ex who ran all over him and slept with God knows how many men gets a second chance.
Why is she avoided? Is that a trust issue?

its about my inlaws. I know I shouldnt be bothored but my husband cannot live without his family. he is the best husband in the world but when it comes to his family he is a little mummys and sisters (3) boy. they have made my life misserable since the past 7 years. they b-tch in front of my husband about my family and me and he doesnot support me (I expect him to). What do I do? I cannt leave them because he wouldnot. Shall I start b-tching them back. Which i did but was not good at it and that gave them more to talk about!! I give an example I left my 6 yrs old with them and they forgot about him and he slept in the garden house and when he woke up it was dark and the doors were closed from inside and he got so scared of the dark and when I called to find out about him thats when they realised that he is missing.... My husband still loves them!!!

I have never chatted or entered a chat room. My first time going into a chat room and i met a girl by randomly clicking a name, we chat for a few weeks, she is from the same city as me (chicago). we both feelt a connection, chatting conversation started to turn into phone conversation that lasted up to 8 hours. i was feeling like i was falling in love with a girl i never seen in person. I finally did fall in love, and she did to, we fell in love, i asked her out but still, we never met or saw each other in person, we exchanged pics but thats it. and i knew a few causins of hers from school but i never met her. her mom moved her to california and she'll be coming back this summer, the thing is we still together, we are still boy friend and girl friend. our relationship is great, its beautiful, we get butterflies wen ever we tell each other that we love one another. it feels beautiful. our relation ship has lasted 2 yrs and yet i still havnt seen her in person. wat do you think?

no its not just playful lust although I crave his body and his smell, and I actually every part of me achces for his touch....when he kisses my back and nibbles on it or even blows on it it arches up to reach the air he just left on me in hopes to catch a small tickle..
Every part of me wants to please him..and he wants to please me too..This is a beautiful life..
I have discovered Heaven and its at night when he holds me in his arms and I am safe from this big bad scarey world and he is my hero!

My question is simple have you ever truly been inlove and have been 100 percent honest and loyal and true and devoted to your lover?

Everybody despises cheaters and are quick to bash them when they post on YA. So, here is an opportunity for everyone to give practical ways to keeps people from cheating.

And NO, wedding vows and "love" obviously doesn't work. The bottom line is good people do some bad things sometimes.

Also the ol' "once a cheater, always a cheater" is useless as well, especially if we as a society don't offer practical ways to deal with the problem of infidelity. Saying all of that, what are some things we could do to overcome the lure of the temptation to cheat and at the same time keep our attractivness and sexuality in tact to the benefit of our spouse. (if no one else wants you, why would your spouse)

Oh yeah, for those of you that would never cheat or your spouse would never cheat because the love is so great, you are the exception because that is not today's reality.
I'll go first...Stay in prayer.

Just getting started, but I wanted to get website suggestions OTHER than David's Bridal (we have one here, and I can look in person).

Also - what would be a universally flattering shape for a dress? My bridesmaids range from 5'2" size 4 to 5'11" size 8 to 5'6" size 14...lots of variation. I would like for all of the dresses to be the same.

Thanks!

I live with my boyfriend who travels frequently for work. We had a trust issue to where we were both snooping on each other, and have recently vowed to get help together for it. I found out that he lied to me about going out one night when he was away. He always calls me to tell me goodnight, which he did, and the next call was to a cab company 3 hours later. My guess, is that he went out, probably to a strip club, and just didn't want to bother telling me. In light of all that has happened with us, I want to just forget about it, and chalk it up to him not wanting to go through the discussion of it. My gut tells me he's a good person, so why would he do this, and should I confront him? To be fair, I have done something similar to him, but I was by no means cheating or doing anything damaging to him other than not telling him where I was.

I'm going to finish a short story I'm writing and meet up with a woman I met on myspace who wants to meet other people who write (I'm not very good, by the way. I Like it though). I was thinking about visiting my 93-year-old grandfather for lunch at the Carmelite nursing home he lives in. What about you?
