I am getting married this July and my wedding plans are coming along beautifully. Well we've already picked out the wedding party and everything. However, I am the bride but instead of having a maid (matron) of honor, I am having a man of honor or a best man...whatever you want to call him.
Allow me to explain....my bestfriend is my big brother. He's with me through whatever and I feel like he should be up there with me on the most important day of my life. Everybody is saying that he could be a groomsmen but my fiance has a lot of brothers and close friends and he would have to exclude an important person in his life in order for my brother to be apart of the wedding party. So I decided to make him my "Man of honor". My fiance thinks it is a GREAT idea, however I've been getting a lot of flack from other people about it.

I have always heard that men cheat more but out of all my friends that have come and gone in my life (I'm 27) all the cheaters have been women? I talked to some of my friends about this and the best answer i got was "women dont know what they want". My friend (a girl) was agreeing that women cheat more. Your thoughts?

i lo e my boyfriend so much we have been together a year but i am so jealouse!i dont show it but for example if we are watching a film an a naked lady comes on or a sex sceen i turn on him and start having a go at him and telling him to **** off! but he dosent no why i do it ! tonight he cmae back from work and this happen and i got so wound up with my self i told him to go home i also carnt stand the fact of him masterbating because i dont know what he thinks of when he dose! i hate being like this but i carnt help it what shall i do !!!

so i'm at uni in my first year and we've been looking for houses. they found one when i went home for the weekend and liked it and all chose "their" rooms - even the girl who also was at home!! i therefore got left with the small room but went to see the house with an open mind. "my" room is so ridiculously small i said we shouldn't live there and should find something else. i found another house which sounds perfect but they are all signing for this other house without even looking at the house i found first. i really do not know what to think/ do as i have no one else to live with.

there's this girl that live next ot me her man beats her i called the police and she got mad and we got the fighting because she said u called the police and she came in my face so we just start knocking and then i had a party 2 days ago we heard noises she was screaming so my man went over there and her man answered the door he said huh my man said would lisa (thats the girl name) do she want to come to the party and he said no they ok my man said i didn't here her say it and she came and he told her to come back in the house she did not answer he siad stay out here she said nothing then she turned to us and said why didnt we stay out of it i said girl u need to leave not keep him and when we left she was beating on the door telling him to open it he would'nt so a few hours later she came beating on our door and we opened it she was mad so we got the fighting again was i wrong for calling the police

This girl and I went on a few dates It was going pretty well but out of nowhere she said that she didnt know if a relationship is what she wanted and thought being friends was the best option. A month later we are talking again. She keeps dropping hints to me to do stuff. Like she said she wanted to go for a walk somwhere (this was 8pm!! no one goes out for walks on there own at night) but she said she didnt know where to go. I said she could come to the pub with me. She was all up for it until i told her my mate would be there. She said it will be "awkward" for him. She later told me we should watch a dvd together, but when i asked her, she again declined after she found out my mate would be there. I thought that if she wanted "friends" then this would be ok? So i invited her around alone, and she said "just to clarify this is purely a friends thing, qui?" I said it was cool, but when she was at my house she kept doing very strange stuff!! The kinda stuff my friends would never do!!

Ok so i need a place where i can do my wedding reception...I've looked every place I can think of...hotels and catering places are too much $ for me right now....
I looked for a place where they rented only the place, gave the chairs and tables but i had to provide the food...that for me was wonderful...when i was about to sign the contract he asked how many guests and then i told him and he said no that the fire marshall license would not allow..so now i dont have a place...
do anyone know where i can find a place in place such as Stamford, Norwalk, Greenwich in CT or Port chester, New Rochelle, WHitePlains, NY?
I would really appreciate it or any other options?
I really need the help...also my wedding is in septmeber this year...

My brother is a jerk. My husband an I got into an argument, and some person marital stuff, in the heat of the moment my husband called my dad, and left a message with my brother since my father was not home. My husband realized that he had made a mistake by getting my family involved, so I called my brother, and asked him to throw away the message. He said no problem. Since then, my brother has insisted that my dad call my husband 3 times in the last day, even though my husband told him he would just speak with him later. Then, my brother told my mom that she needed to get involved and call my husband. Believe me, you do not want they types of parents we have involved in your personal business. He still is insisting, even though my husband has said everything is okay, that they call. Now, the kicker, I have been nothing but nice to this guy. He's 28, lives off of my parents buck in SF, I have given him 2 cars, places to stay, clothes, wine, etc. He is a jerk. Opinions?

alright,
me and my friends were playing Wii Sports, and i was trying to tell my friend a story. and before i was able to begin, my other friend rudely said "I bet this has nothing to do with bowling" (we were playing the bowling game at the time).

then i told my friend the story, and he wasnt that interested, cause i think he was influenced not to due to my friend's comment.

they say i have a habit of saying things or telling stories that have nothing to do with what is either happening or what they are talking about. But i dont see it, i just think they are snobs at times.

so, anyone have any good insults to throw back at them next time hey say "What does that have to do with (insert activity here)?"
