I'm in a class with a girl whom I've known with for about a year. I've always had a thing for her but never had the guts to ask her out. I've never really flirted with her before because we're only acquainted through an awkward classroom environment. Is it too late to ask her out now that we're like friends, or should I take the chance and make it even more awkward by asking her out on a date? Please help!

Ok, so I have never had a bf. There was this one guy, and we liked each other for 4 years, but never went out because he wasn't allowed. (haha, I know pathetic he goes to a private highschool and is kind of sheltered). Anyway, because of that "relationship" I've completely discouraged anyguy from liking me. Now thats over, 4 guys have asked me out in the past week and I've rejected them because I'm kind of iffy on dating. But last weekend, I met this great guy and he has been texting me all week and wants to hang out this weekend. HELP?! I don't know what to do! I want to... but what do you think he means by hanging out? Watch a movie? Go to the mall? Does that count as a date? I don't know him very well, so what do we talk about? Ahh! Any advice would be great.

When me and my husband first got engaged, I was unsure if I wanted to go ahead with the marriage because I was scared of another failed relationship so I became wishy-washy with my feelings towards him. He in turn sensed this and I believe he rekindled his relationship with his ex. Well we ended up getting married and he says he hasn't talked to her and he's not aware if she knows whether or not he's married now. Here's the dilema, she has started calling his cell phone again. Should I just let him handle this situation or should I tell her he is now married just in case he hasn't. He's a very caring man and I know he doesn't want any confrontations with either her or me and he doesn't want to see any one hurt even though I know she would be if she knew. How should I handle this?

Ok, About a year ago I broke up with my first gf (Im 21 now, and in university). She loved me very much in the short 7 months we were together. However, that she was my first gf I never believed it could last- after all thats what my friends told me. So I fell into it, and broke up with her.She was devastated, I have recently just found out how so.
But anyways about 6 weeks ago she moved across the country with her new bf, for 8 months. I went to visit her before she left and we had some real good time together. ANd basically we told each other how we still had feelings for each other. She cried in my arms the night before she left on the beach. Saying how she wished I would have told her a week earlier.
But my question. We have been talking as much as she can. I have to call her at work, and she dosent like using her bf's phone(she is currently without a phone). But, as much as I know she is a honest girl I question if she is telling me the truth.

Thanks so much for your email reply. I have been so busy. I am taking a quick break at work to reply to you. I certainly hope your neck area is getting better! Having a spasm in that area can ruin your day, you never realize how much you use your neck until it’s hurt.



Your commentary about being without cats is quite humorous. But, I hope you are not feeling lonely without them. It is good that you no longer have that annoyance factor though.



The house is shaping up well. The landlord/repair people have not shown up yet, to my knowledge. With the help of Nessa, yesterday we shredded 10 years worth of cancelled checks. That was a fun activity for her, and was nice to be rid of more packrat stuff. Just have a few more cabinets to go through and some filing to do.



Have some more stuff to do tonight since I don’t have Nessa with me. Maybe we can chat later if possible. Miss you much!

I am 34 and have never been in a "serious" relationship with a guy. Due to sexual abuse in my past, I have found it very hard to open up and trust a guy. When a guy smiles at me, I tend to withdraw rather than show interest (if, indeed, I am interested!)
It's very hard to be my age and feel like a freak on a leash. I have had mostly long-distance relationships with basically unavailable people.
How do you open up to dating available guys? How do you trust when you've known mostly just a lot of pain from men?

I am 14 and I have never had a boyfriend, been kissed, or been on a date. Everybody I know has done one of those things. I just thought that when you turn 13 or 14 you get your first kiss and your first boyfriend because that's what happens in the movies and on TV...but I guess I was wrong. I am scared that when I get into High School I will never find anybody because it is a small town school.
