Ok, so I have never had a bf. There was this one guy, and we liked each other for 4 years, but never went out because he wasn't allowed. (haha, I know pathetic he goes to a private highschool and is kind of sheltered). Anyway, because of that "relationship" I've completely discouraged anyguy from liking me. Now thats over, 4 guys have asked me out in the past week and I've rejected them because I'm kind of iffy on dating. But last weekend, I met this great guy and he has been texting me all week and wants to hang out this weekend. HELP?! I don't know what to do! I want to... but what do you think he means by hanging out? Watch a movie? Go to the mall? Does that count as a date? I don't know him very well, so what do we talk about? Ahh! Any advice would be great.

tell him u will go and make some suggestions as to what u can do - that will also open up some conversions of what u both like ,try to be calm and not worry about what to talk about when you go out, just go for the fun and go with the flow of things im sure things will come up to talk about have fun and see where things go good luck and i hope this helps

The single biggest problem with lack of experience is a lack of perspective, the ability to look at a situation and tell whether its a big deal or not. Does it matter if its a date or not? I wouldn't think so. I would think that all the matters is whether or not you and he both had a good time. As for as what he means by hanging out, well, why don't you ask him? Generally speaking, guys are as self-concious of a woman's expectations as the women are of the guys.

To put things in perspective, he is probably as shaken as you are, but he's just doing a better job of playing it cool. The fact that he's been texting you all week indicates that he's interested in you. Chances are that you won't ruin that by asking him to firm up the details for you.

If you think he's great, that means that you are attracted to him. Let him know that by taking his hand as you guys walk, or smiling at him when he's not looking, and holding it till he sees. Being flirtatious with him will help him to have a good time, and probably you as well.
