I am 14 and I have never had a boyfriend, been kissed, or been on a date. Everybody I know has done one of those things. I just thought that when you turn 13 or 14 you get your first kiss and your first boyfriend because that's what happens in the movies and on TV...but I guess I was wrong. I am scared that when I get into High School I will never find anybody because it is a small town school. Right now I really don't want a boyfriend and I think I am weird because of that because all of my friends want one. I would rather hang out with my family and friends on a weekend than worry about a boyfriend. All of my friends said that they have had a boyfriend but they never went out with them anywhere or talked to them so I just don't get how that could be a boyfriend. Last year this didn't really bother me but this year it is bothering me and I don't know why it is. I kinda feel that I am abnormal. I don't know what is wrong with me. I think that I am very pretty but I am very shy

Girl, Nothings wrong with you..
I was in this exact same posistion until april of this year..then I went out with this guy [who I really didn't like in that way..he was okay for a friend, just not boyfriend material.] So anyway, we broke up after four days..haha. So, I figured I should just stay single for awhile and think some things thorugh..So I did exactly that, then in June my current boyfriend asked me out and we've been together for nearly 9 months now! =]..He's absolutely wonderful! and..I'm definitely in love:]...
My point being, hang in there..The right guy for you will come soon enough:]

The only person that needs to think you're cool is yourself. Dont worry about what others do think or say. Just make sure you keep your head high and your self esteem strong. All the rest will come in time and fall into place. Good Luck.

tru luv will always find a way....love takes time and kant be rushed, just let the rite guy come 2 u, those are alot of firsts and u never wanna share them with the wrong guy, regret them, or want to 4get them.

everyone has their own pace. odds are, u just havent seen the right guy. keep lloking.
small towns suck for the dating scene anyways. i live in hickville, population 1000.
try going to a nearby bigger town.
