ok well fyi, i was never rly in :"love" with anyone b4 and i am 19. k thats fine,but all my life if i ever had a crush is what on someone i saw freqently somewhere like school etc. i never actually knew that person tho but we would recognize each other anyway if we saw each other somewhere else. k so anyway, this yr i am in college and things r changing, slowly, but they r a bit. now i know what it feels like to crush on someone i know, but my story goes like this: i know a guy from class and we are not actual friedns but friendly in class. i like him anyway, and i dunno how to get him in my group of friends. i am not shy but i am with guys. hes rly nice. we've been together in the same class for like 2 semesters now and thank g-d i spkoke to him 4 the first time last class for a project, i dont want it to stop, how can i continue talking to him what should i say! ps-my bday is coming up and im dyyingggggg to invite him but we are not clse enuf yet. plz i dont want another guy2 go by.

i wanted to get to know him first befroe my bday cuz there will be many ppl so we wont be able to talk at the actual bday. so im thinking inviting him personally with mabe 2 or 3 other ppl b4 just to chill so i can dedicate some time with him b4 we go clubbing? good idea? remember if i do invite him to this get together b4 he will prob understansd that i like him lol cuz i dont know him much..hell prob wonder why i havent invited closer friends. so what dou think should i do this

I suggest a minor date first. Ask him to go for coffee or whatever after class. Get comfortable with him. If this feels good, then ask him to your birthday celebration. The problem with the birthday, is that if you have many friends, it will be hard to dedicate the time that you need to to a guy that you want for a bf. So try to do some other stuff together first.

hey, your in college. you are allowed to be a bit impetuous. Go ahead and ask the guy to your b-day. Just make it seem casual ;
"some of my friends are getting together on Saturday for my birthday. It would be cool if you want to come hang out with us"
remember, he is away at college and meeting all sorts of new people for the first time too.

i think you should keep on talking to him. make sure he gets to know you and that you get to know him. flirt like crazy!! if he sees that u are interested he might make a move. as for the bday party take a chance and invite him. it might turn out to be the best bday ever =]

Ask him as a friend to hang out with you. People become friends by asking them to hang out. It should be no different because he is a guy!
