I'm in a class with a girl whom I've known with for about a year. I've always had a thing for her but never had the guts to ask her out. I've never really flirted with her before because we're only acquainted through an awkward classroom environment. Is it too late to ask her out now that we're like friends, or should I take the chance and make it even more awkward by asking her out on a date? Please help!

I don't think that it would be awkward at all. there is always that chance that she could be the one. It is always better to be friends first before you date it kinda makes the process more comfortable for the both of you.

Ask her out! It never hurts! Just ask her to go with you somewhere little like the movies or to dinner on night, don't pressure her or act all weird when you ask her to go with you. Just remember to be yourself and she should like you for who you are, not for who you act like. Don't worry she will be happy you asked her to go somewhere together, you never know, she might have a secret crush on you but just does not want to make the first move.

you should say that i've been thinking a lot about you lately but i've been afraid to ask you out for fear of losing our wonderful friendship but if you are willing to take it to the next level then it will make me the happiest guy alive and if not, i understand.

Two things could happen:
a) She could say no and you'll be momentarily heartbroken, but you'll move on
b) She says yes and you have a great first date.
You never know until you ask.

i think u should ask her out for a bite to eat or something like that and then tell her how you really feel & make sure you tell her no matter how she feels it wont ruin your friendship..
