This girl and I went on a few dates It was going pretty well but out of nowhere she said that she didnt know if a relationship is what she wanted and thought being friends was the best option. A month later we are talking again. She keeps dropping hints to me to do stuff. Like she said she wanted to go for a walk somwhere (this was 8pm!! no one goes out for walks on there own at night) but she said she didnt know where to go. I said she could come to the pub with me. She was all up for it until i told her my mate would be there. She said it will be "awkward" for him. She later told me we should watch a dvd together, but when i asked her, she again declined after she found out my mate would be there. I thought that if she wanted "friends" then this would be ok? So i invited her around alone, and she said "just to clarify this is purely a friends thing, qui?" I said it was cool, but when she was at my house she kept doing very strange stuff!! The kinda stuff my friends would never do!!

for example, we where gonna watch it downstairs in the living room, but she wanted to watch it on my bed. When we were on my bed, I sat at the far end and she kept getting closer and closer, until she was leaning on me. She kept looking at me during the film, very weirdly. I noticed her looking at me in the mirror when she thought i wasnt looking. When I left the room, she turned the main light off and put my lamp on, made it look kinda romantic. There are many others!!

she is either teasing you very badly or is very shy and she is pretending she just wants to be friends in case you reject her...The next time she starts her seduction act lean in to kiss her and see what happens.

Women communicate through signals, and very often, they say something when they mean something else. Usually, it's due to insecurity or fear of rejection. Hey, male or female, how many of us have been there?

She is certainly sending you mixed signals and sounds confused. Maybe she had a bad relationship, and doesn't want to rush in => hence the "friends" thing, but then she just can't resist you and wants to be alone with you.

The question is not what she wants, but what you want. If you like her and want to go further, then why don't you just say that you're feeling confused cos you thought she just wanted to be friends, and yet, you feel that sometimes, she behaves as though it's more than that. Then tell her how you feel, that you like her, and that you're happy to be just friends or more, depending on how she feels about it.

Just be honest, and don't play games. What's the worse thing that could happen? She could say she just wants to be friends ... so you wouldn't really lose anything, would you? All to gain, and not much to lose! Good luck.

She sounds like a tease..who sounds like she's into you. What she wants is to drive you wild, aroused, & wanting to be all over her, but probably at last moment she'll pull away & say "we're only friends, remember?"

I recommend you play her game, ignore her & let her do the chasing which will drive her up the wall, ceiling & through the roof and deepen her attraction for you. It will take her power away & she'll be feeding you grapes soon. Maybe. If you like grapes that is.

I've gone out with a few like this....they send you the signals and when you act on it they tell you to back off and then do it again.

I learned to just stop calling them and stop returning their calls. They are not friends....they are teases.

Never, Never try to understand women! they are a law unto themselves, the world would be a happier place if men realised that women don't think the same as us! they are on a different Planet, for Gods sake! Don't even try!

she is after you. watch out or she will catch you. if women date you and then suddenly decide to become friends they are lying and are trying to lull you into a false sense of security. RUN LIKE THE WIND.

she wants to use you for sex and probably for dates and stuff without the commitment, so that she can see other guys as and when she pleases. you sound like a nice guy, forget her, find yourself a nice girl

It sounds liek she is scared of commitment. Give her time and tell her that you want to date other people while she straitens her life out.
