You just haven't met the right guy yet. Most men appreciate girls (women) that are choosy. It shows character and honesty.
Do you normally buy the first thing you see on the rack or do you try different things until you find exactly what you are looking for?
Same applies to relationships.

You're 18...you still have time. I didn't get my first boyfriend (and kiss) until I was 19 1/2. I caught up real quick though (or that's what I've been told). You sound like a really nice and sweet person. I'm sure you'll find a boyfriend when the time is right. From experience, I realize that I always find a boyfriend when I'm not looking for one. I'm 30 by the way.

Ok, how is your social life sweetheart? Your situation is neither weird or pathetic but it would be nice to at least have a tiny bit of experience before you hit college...I only say this because I knew some girls in your same position when I first went to school--dont worry 95% had no trouble come of it-- but the other 5% ran into some intimacy problems and extreme shyness issues, but you seem to be confident and its no big deal to just chill out...Enjoy your time however you like, good luck hon.

No its not. Don't worry it will happen when the time is right. I was almost 18 and looking back now I wish I would have waited longer because the guy just used me anyways. Don't worry there is nothing wrong with you and when the time comes you want it to be with someone special. Be true to yourself and don't get caught up in peer pressure. Take it from someone who knows.

no its not and trust me u will be happy later looking back that u havint done anything because it leaves a kinda bad taste on everything u do after its not a good idea to do something just to be able to say u did and when u get someone that is worth giving that up it will make them feel beyond compare and thats the best gift you can give plus playing hard to get and not being easy can be very rewarding

Relax - everyone goes through life at different speeds. The fact that you'll be a little older than some means you'll be able to enjoy it more. :)
