I am not a virgin anymore, but i have heard a lot of different answers to this question. How long should a girl wait to have sex with a guy?

Ok, so there is this guy I have liked for a long time who delivers hay to my barn. I really like him and I think he may like me. He waves and always smiles at me and says "hi", and I have seen him glancing over at me a lot too. The last time I saw him I finally got up the nerve to have a conversation with him and introduced myself. However, I am I shy person and I think he is too, so my question is, how do I get him to ask me out? I don't think I can ask him out, for fear of rejection and I don't want to come on too strong.

I am a very independent person. I never ask my boyfriend to do anything special for me. I always pay for myself whenever we go out. We don't go out on Valentine's day. Normally we just order Chinese food. I don't even ask him to pay for it. He switched jobs about a year ago and since then he's been telling me that he'll take me out to a fancy dinner to celebrate. He hasn't yet :(. During the past year I have also changed jobs. I waited and waited for him to take me out so that I could take him out to celebrate my new job. But he never did. I gave up two months after getting my offer and treated him at a really expensive restaurant. He keeps mentioning that he still needs to take me out, but keeps forgetting to make reservations. Why does he do that? I know that he took his ex-girlfriends to fancy dinners. Why didn't he forget to make reservations when he was going out with them? Why does he keep forgetting to take me out? I feel like I deserve a good treat at least once a year :(

I read an article from Salon.com that got me thinking. One of my problems with getting a girlfriend is probably my virginity. Based on that article and what I've been hearing it sounds like American dating culture is full of shallow, insensitive, and selfish people. I just don't think people should shun us older virgins. In the article it was about women virgins (but I feel to a degree it applies to guys like me too) and I found it heartbreaking. As far as I'm concerned if a guy is dating a woman and then dumps her because she is a virgin he is not a man.

She divorced me more than 5 years ago. She said she needed to find herself and eloped to Cancun with a new-found boyfriend, while I was struggling to get out of a heavy debt with my almost bunkrupt company. In the divorce settlement, she kept custody of our two girls and almost all the debt-free assets that we had, namley sub urban land, plus an over-generous alimony. When I was unable to pay such high alimony, she sued me and sent me to jail for a whole month, until I got out with a Constitutional resource. Two years later she says she has realized I am the love of her live and she wants me back, also beacuse - she says - my girls need me badly. In the meantime I have kept a close relationship to my children while dating other women. Unexpectedly, I had a baby-boy with my three-year girlfriend right after breaking up with her. She is mad at me and barely lets me see my son. My exwife is now the lovliest person I can imagine.
This is not a soap opera, but my true present life.

Last night when i was about to fall asleep, i had a flashback in my dream. i was with my (ex) boyfriend at his friends house, and for the 10 seconds i was in the flashback, i felt something was wrong. I meet my husband 9 months ago we hit it right off and got engaged not more then 4 months later I became pregnant. We decided to keep the baby with the understand we are going to move out ASAP. We live with his parents right now who smoke like crazy and his dad stays home and doesn't work and he plays his music/TV at all hours of the night loud to were I can't sleep and also does pot every once in a while. His temper isn't the best either he yells at everyone. I told my husband I need to move out by the end of march not only for my health but that of the baby. The problem is that he doesn't think we have enough money, which we do we have worked things out thousands of times and each time it works out. I have now told him that we either move out or I leave, he told me to leave cause we can't afford to move out. So should I stay with my husband at his parents house and live with the smoke and every thing or should I leave and take our child with me???

This kid Chris likes me [ hes ur typical dork (glasses braces) hes really nice and sweet he gave me a V day present and a Bday present and hes a lil shorter then me.]

We are classmate.When Im enter the class she always looking at me and smiling so sweet to me. Dear Sir,
Ammu is not a very good condition. First she felt pain on her knee. I took her to CMH. They referred her to an orthopedics. She had to take x-ray. Now the Dr, gives her some other test, urea , and serum c etc. I am really worried. Please, pray for her.

OK, I was at a Sweet 16 last night. This question is about this girl that was there. This is not her name, but just for the purpose of the question, let's call her Jessica. Jessica goes to school with me, but we really didn't know each other. I only talked to her once, and that was about 5 months ago for about 8 minutes when I had to b/c it was for a required assignment in religion class. So I get to the party, and when I see Jessica, who I barely knew, she yells out my name and says hi. Then she says she wants to dance with me later. I was surprised she knew me and wanted to dance. I thought she was just messing around with me. So later, I walk past the dancing section, see her, and just give her one of those “hello” nods. Then I start to walk away. I walked across the entire place, which was huge. I get to where I was heading for, turn around, and there she is. Obviously, she chased me down across the club. She grabbed my hand, and led me all the way back to the dance floor.
