Last night when i was about to fall asleep, i had a flashback in my dream. i was with my (ex) boyfriend at his friends house, and for the 10 seconds i was in the flashback, i felt something was wrong. My ex boyfriend and i have broken up, and we went out for a month, Do you thin kthis is a sign for me to not get over him? or to get over him? I don't know, please answer!

Dreams happen for many reasons: subconcious thoughts, unfinished business, powerful memories, etc... I don't think you should read too heavily into your dream, but rather use it as a guide......Perhaps use it as a reminder that you need to be intuitive of your situations, your emotions, and the emotions of others. It might not be so much of a "sign" to not get over him, as much as it could be a sign and indication telling YOU that you aren't over him and ready to move on and pursue another relationship. It could mean that you need to provide some closure for yourself....Maybe think about the relationship and what went wrong...write him a letter....talk to him again...clarify things. Or maybe it's just telling you that you need more time to heal, more time to grow...and not to start another relationship just yet...

On the other hand--my grandmother was very superstitious, and she believed that dreams usually mean the opposite......For instance: dream of a dead relative, and you hear from someone you haven't heard from in a long time......

So, if you go with that approach, it could tell you to get over him quickly.....

I personally believe you should do what your heart tells you, and to perhaps use your dream as a sign that you need to look clearly into your own mind and heart.

You still have mixed feelilngs about him. A month is not enough time to have grown too attached to him. What you are feeling is your own basic insecurity about making decisions and standing by them. You need to grow more confidence in yourself, flashbacks are a sign to move on from the past.

dreams are formed by activity sparked in your brain usually concernig current memories that can sometimes spark old memories, something called activation synthesis tries to make sense off all of the active information / it probably doesn't mean anything besides its something you've been thinking bout or remember

A month? That's not a boyfriend... lord !.....how old are you?... 14? Your horomones are probably stronger than your dreams. Think about your future, your loves, your passions, first.... boys will 'catch up' later.

Okay, were you asleep or not? You were just remembering him, something must have triggered a thought that reminded you of him.

It just means you are still trying to process the event in your subconscious.
