A) you have to fight to hold on to your true love or else they will go elsewhere/ don't let a good one pass you by

B) when you love something, you must let it go...and if it comes back...that's how you know it is real/ true love will work out on it's own without interferance

I hate the whole idea of having to fight* for it. If it's love, why are they struggling against me?

Depends on the situation. If what you're fighting for is worth it, and wants to be held on to, then you fight...if what you're fighting for isn't worth it or doesn't want to be held on to, you let it go...
You can't run at the first sign of trouble, but you also can't force someone to love you. Staying or leaving is a judgment call each individual has to make for them-self, depending on their situations and what they want.
