Ok, so there is this guy I have liked for a long time who delivers hay to my barn. I really like him and I think he may like me. He waves and always smiles at me and says "hi", and I have seen him glancing over at me a lot too. The last time I saw him I finally got up the nerve to have a conversation with him and introduced myself. However, I am I shy person and I think he is too, so my question is, how do I get him to ask me out? I don't think I can ask him out, for fear of rejection and I don't want to come on too strong.

Keep making excuses to say hello and chat with him. Tell him how much you enjoy his conversations. Ask him about his interests and what he does in his spare time for fun. Always give him a great smile and like I said always make and excuse to talk to him, he will realise that you like him and he will eventually get the nerve up to ask you out. Everything takes time and being shy is the worst thing, but men appriciate it more, in the long run. Don't worry so much, get a common interest with him like reading books and exchange books with him. give him your email and ask him if he would like to write back and forth. Enjoy his company and men like it when you have a bit of humour they like to laugh. Take care Heather

i'm sorry if this isn't helpful...but u should ask him out! i mean, if i liked u (well if i was a boy) i would want u to ask ME out! cause, well apparently this guy is just shy, so u have to reel him in before he looks for more fish! lol. anyway, it's sooo cool that u have a barn!!! rock on!

I doud't he'll reject you from what it sounds like... remember if you like someone there isn't enough time in this life for regrets just talk to him.

ASK HIM OUT!!!!!!!!! if he rejects you, that's his problem. Because your probably a great person!
ps. but u should probably get to no him before u ask him. then you'll be more comfortable.

you can't force him to ask you out, plus he is shy so he probably won't work up the courage to anywa. just do it yourself.

i think you should just say "hey, want to hang out sometime?" and if he lieks you he will say "sure, i was waiting fo ryou to say something" or something like that...good luck!
