Sometimes I just wish there was someone out there who could see me as I see myself; loved me as I love myself. Someone that appreciates me for the lovely person that I know I am. I'm not looking for the perfect guy, because its our flaws and imperfections that make us who we are. They make us beautiful. I'm only hopeing that one day there will be someone who is kind, respects me, and accepts me for who I am. Maybe it's all a lie. Maybe confidence, high self esteem, a great personality with a pretty face, low maintanence, independence, and not being concieded really are turn offs to men. Or maybe i'm just stuck in a world of XY's where all the good ones are taken. *sigh* anybody care to shed some enlightenment?

A boy i really like sent me orange rose bouquet for valentines, he said he didnt send me red ones as it was too predictable, does this mean he loves me because he thought about it more?? or didnt want to spend money on me so got the cheapest lot?? I dont know how much they cost their a really nice bunch with white flowers and the orange roses with green leaves.

We are sisters, 14 and 19. Our parents have now been separated for a year. Our father left and told us that he was moving in with his girlfriend. We don't know how long they've been seeing eachother, but know that they have known each other for years. He has confirmed the fact that he cheated on our mom. We see our dad occasionally, but haven't totally gotten over the pain. Should we meet the new woman, and if so how?

I met my close (former) friend last night at a mates party.(I needed time out to get over my feelings for her)She said the friendship was lost(via txt on Monday) and we both felt awkward at the beginning-I couldn't even say a word!I ended up speaking to her for most of the evening-she couldn't believe I was being so normal-especially after what she txt me(friendship lost-move on)

I apologised for hurting her i.e. wanting no contact - she snaped bck saying YOU NEVER HURT ME! GOOD/BAD RESPONSE??

I asked her if she'll join us on our group roadtrips - she said YES! - A POSITIVE SIGN OF FRIENDSHIP RESTARTING???

As she left I said that hopefully/possibly see you in a few months -she replied I'll see you at the roadtrip - we said bye and she gave me a tight hug - ANOTHER POSITIVE SIGN???

She needed a hug from my mate as it was too much for her to take in!

IS THE FRIENDSHIP REALLY LOST???

Their father doesn't want to see them, they are only toddlers and they never ask about him despite his living with them and their mother til recently. But presumably in the future they will ask. He is alcoholic and doesn't support them and their mother wants no further contact so there is no conflict and the boys are happy. He lives in the same small town, so may not be totally avoidable in future. How to answer their questions which are bound to be extensive at some stage?

ok, last time i told all of you about my gf. if you don't know what im talking about, i wil explain again. ok this is how it goes, my gf whos 23 years old, i been dating for a while now. anyway before she dated me, she had a ex bf, and they made the choice to have a baby, but broke up a few weeks later. anyway she told me she was going to have a baby thats not even mine!. we never had sex, and she said shes going to keep the baby. anyway icame here and asked for advice, and i told her how i felt. i said im glad shes keeping the baby, and im still going to be with her, i love her, and i will help her take care of the baby. im 18, and my 23 year old gf is having a baby thats not mine, but i made the choice to stay. i got a job, and i can help her if she needs it. were not getitng married, and she said shes never going to see her ex again. so i want to ask you all did i make the right choice? i love her, and i will be on her side. so did i make the right choice?

Ive been with my partner for 7 years now, he has admitted to cheating on me once before but since then i cant help but rethink our past and i do really believe that it was more than once. it does haunt me from time to time and i can say i have difficulty trusting him. i have suggested a lie detector and he refused saying why waste money but i dont know how to go about it so i let it down and suggested realationship couselling and he refuses saying whats the point?! what do you think he's really up to? my reasons for staying is because i am scared of being hurt and i have a child to him and also currently pregnant to our second!!

so my boyfriend cheated on me, but i have given him another chance. But as usual it is hard for me to get over the fact that he cheated. So when i feel like i can't take it anymore i tell him its over, and within the next 5 minutes he is at my door telling me to "please dont do this", and " i love you so much" etc etc.Within the last 4 weeks hes like "move in with me" "marry me" , and i admitt i am being a total B**ch to him, i try not to, but sometimes to cant help it.But he puts up with it, and does anything and everything i want.and tells me everyday he wont cheat, and that he only wants me, and is totally devoted to me now. Does this mean he really wants me? and is going to try really hard to be and stay with me?
