I fell for someone who made me aware from the start I was never going to be good enough, but even knowing they thought so little for me, I feel in love anyway and can't get them out of my head. Its been three months and i'm going mad, no one seems to be able to replace them!!

-first off the fact that he made it clear you would never be good enough makes it clear to me that HE is not good enough for you!
-second you said you 'feel' in love so on some level you know your not and the feeling will pass.
-thirdly its only been three months its not easy to get over someone. if you see them all the time its hard, but equally if you see very little of them you have a lot of time to think about them and you end up turning them into your ideal man when they r probably nowhere near! the ability to daydreaming is a b****!

Maybe the problem is your trying to replace them. You obviously feel for them hard maybe now you need to think about some of their not so good qualities.
After all them telling you would never be good enough must have made you feel awful. It time to put them down and built yourself up. You are good enough and some people are too stupid to see that. Remember that!

Do not compare other lads to this one all guys are different, and when you meet one who tells you that you are good enough for them and that they love you, you will realise that this casanova was just a passing fancy and you will wonder what you ever saw in him. He cannot be a very nice person to tell someone that they are not good enough for them, who does he think he is. Good luck to you you are worth better than him, he would not have made you happy anyway, forget him please.

I know this is going to be a hard thing to do but you must focus on other things, fill your life with things to keep you busy.....don't hang out where he hangs out and put others first in your life rather than think about what you want .....given time you will forget all about him....he doesn't sound the sort of person that would make you remotely happy if he thinks he is above you, you will be far better off without him.....

Oh, I have the same problem and he's on my mind like 24/7. We used to work at the same place but never spoke a word to each other and he's probably married too, so I must be losing my mind. I just miss they way he would look at me when we see each other in the hallway.

sorry you feel this way. but if someone makes you feel you're never gonna be good enough for him, then he's not gonna be good to you when you date. and that way, you're gonna feel even worse...than what you're feeling now. you're only lamenting the fact that you can't have him, but guess what? if you kinda have him and he puts you down, you're gonna feel worse cause you don't even love yourself from the way he treats you. so be happy now and you'll get over him. i know exactly how you feel...i just keep telling myself....just be friends and the 'special' feeling will go away! good luck!

Girl i have the same problem,with me i still see the guy everyday..Coz we wrk together,im trying really hard not to think about him..Im surrounded by other people-friendz we laugh together and everything,im still as jolly as always,although im hurting inside..But just ignore him..Coz no 1 can stand it!You'l get over him if u really want to!Good luck

Listen listen to me Missy, his already told you that it isn't going to happen so take his foolish advice and accept it.It's him who is going to miss out on the love you had for him not you and anyway if your no good for him then his no good for you.While your thinking about him his out there not giving a toss about you. Pull yourself together and show him what his missing then go one better and go and find out what your missing.

what you need to do, is stop comparing other guys to this one guy.
