ok heres the deal. everytime i enter the hallways in highschool i always hear something said behind my back about me being ugly. i am a well known athlete and maybe there jealous because of my talent. but it hurts so much when they say it and it makes me want to cry every night just thinking about it. i always look down when i walk because i dont want them to look at my face. they always say something about my nose and how i look like a man because im a little muscular. i don't get what's with our society. everyone thinks its so funny to make fun of people and they think that if they make fun of someone they will get accepted by a group of friends. its horrible

I am heavy set and a single mom.I am interested in a military man but dont know if he is interested in me. I have a good friend who is a girl, we go out often, but i dont we are bf/gf at the moment. IF i tell her that i like her, and for some reason she says she doesnt like me in THAT kind of way, do you think we culd still be good friends. I dated this guy for a few weeks time but it was an intensely passionate period of time during which we were living together and talking about anything and everything for hours on end everyday. Things ended up coming to a dramatic close (which I had already anticipated so it's like it was the shocker of the century) when my new man turned around and accused me of being fake the entire time he had known me. With that statement, he threw out all of my stuff from his apartment and flipped out with an intensity that I had never seen before.

The only rationale that I can conclude is that most people these days aren't as open, trusting, and giving as I am these days, so I figure maybe he was taken aback by the huge difference in the way we both saw and treated other people. We both come from opposite ends of the economic spectrum, too (he comes from a lower income neighborhood, whereas I the opposite).

Example: He lives in another state, work took me to his state and he promised we would go on a date. Then he would promise to call, only to not call. We did meet one time (he met me at airport to welcome me to state). So, now that I have returned home, he's calling and blowing up my cell, IM's me, etc...should I talk to him or just "shake him off"...I just feel as if, why all the double talk? And why now that I am back home, some 1000 miles away does he want to talk again...also, no apology, he's calling as if nothing happened... yet I feel stood up.... ok i'm really good friends with this one guy at my school. I also used to like him in the begining of the school year but i let it quiet because my friend liked him A LOT, but she said she's suddenly stopped liking him because she met a guy at her family's New Years party and she has a boyfriend now.

So i thought that I could bring up the whole liking him with out guilt again. All of our friends tell us that we would be a cute couple and all he does is smile when he hears it but he doesn't say anything and sometimes he acts like he likes me but i don't know. I like him, and i really would like to know what it would be like to go out with him. Although the current news from my friends is that my friend who liked him before still does.

My best friend who I have known for forever is saying that she will ask him if he would go out with me hypothetically on Monday. How do I separate the like of an extremely cute, sweet, and perfect guy from the worry of losing a really great friend?

Recently, we had an argument that led to me admitting to him that I loved him. But I said not anymore. I loved him secretly but now he knows. He has hurt me so much. I feel that after all I did for him as a friend he doesnt even know how to treat me right/with respect. So I told him, I personally won't bother you anymore. My husband was arrested for domestic violence and insists that because I am i ***** and I "push his buttons" that I need to take resposibility for the situation. My ex has now taken custody of my other kids and my husband says " You are the reason your children are gone". He claims if I wantd my children I would not have argued with him or "acted like a *****". A few days ago I wrote my thoughts on a piece of paper, which he read. He woke me up at 4:00 am to tell me I was a liar, and that he was going to show everyone how crazy I was. I took the book back and he apparently wanted it so bad it was worth a fight. Later, when My injuries had me in bed, he claimed that I was just as violent and it was my fault. So I ask you this: Is this my fault even though I screamed for him to stop? Is it my fault when I am backing away from him and he gets scratched while I try to hold him back? He claims I have been just as abusive, but I have never attacked him.

this has happened to me twice in the past 6 months or so. i have these two good friends and each of them have told me they did not want to date or be together because i was too good of a friend and didnt want to hurt me / get hurt. it's just interesting that both of them said this. Talking to each friend about this maybe occured between a 2 month gap of each other. This quite possibly be true. I think in the start of a friendship that is the time to make a move. Once people become good friends i gues there is a fear of losing them? These arent just anyfriends either. I would consider both of them my best friends. Do I just have to distance myself more? not be as open or friendly?
