I dated this guy for a few weeks time but it was an intensely passionate period of time during which we were living together and talking about anything and everything for hours on end everyday. Things ended up coming to a dramatic close (which I had already anticipated so it's like it was the shocker of the century) when my new man turned around and accused me of being fake the entire time he had known me. With that statement, he threw out all of my stuff from his apartment and flipped out with an intensity that I had never seen before.

The only rationale that I can conclude is that most people these days aren't as open, trusting, and giving as I am these days, so I figure maybe he was taken aback by the huge difference in the way we both saw and treated other people. We both come from opposite ends of the economic spectrum, too (he comes from a lower income neighborhood, whereas I the opposite).

if you were open and giving, he might feel as though you had ulterior motives. He may belive that you were faking your kindness so you could get something from him. As a general rule, people these days don't believe in openness, honesty, and generosity. Sad but true.

But did you spend as much time online as you did, IRL with him? If so, he might assume that you don't deal in reality.

I dont know. For one, the biggest stereotype I could point out is that if you were "rich" or so you imply or, wealthier than the common, then you could be perceived for being 'fake' from the beginning. But just because thats a stereotype doesnt make it true or not true, just thats what stereotypes do, I think they are a lot of the times. And second, maybe its because the two of you clicked so well its like he made you act a different way & you were so open that he hadnt expected you to be that way & he hadnt see you act that way around anyone else. thirdly, I dont understand the situation a bit, how often is someone accused of being 'fake' the entire time. its odd that you really have no idea too. well im sorry that it had to happen like that

someone told him something about you or he thinks you were playing a game. really don't know why he would think you were fake other than that, or you were playing mind games of some type and he knew it later. it could be he thought you were telling him all those things so you could learn more about him, nobody likes an emissary, especially not someone starting a relationship. people are conservative in nature, they do not tell just anything to others and some things are hard to admit, if you told him things like that, then that is the reason. he thinks you a liar

He probably got scared because he thought you guys were getting too close and he got afraid or just like you said, both of your opinions may be too drastically different for eachother and how you act towards people.

You were living together for the three weeks of your relationship??? Maybe he was looking for an excuse to get out?

Don't worry about what people think of you. If you just be yourself... the last thing you can be is fake
