# 1 cause for stress = financial problems...bills, overwhelming debt. It causes so much stress and even divorces. People could relieve this problem by trying to watch what they spend and get a better hold on their budget. It's hard to do but can be done. Changes need to be made and strict rules followed. Discipline...goes a long way in some situations.

Stress is a response to any event or circumstance that will change a person's current state of being. So the number one "cause" of stress is the ever-changing experience of life itself.
Stress is neither negative or positive. We have come to considered it as something undesireable. Mostly because it is a response to an event that is perceived negatively.
The best way to handle stress is to take back your control of your thinking about the events that you are feeling frustrated, threatened or hurt by.
We cannot control other people, places or things. What we can control is how we think about the life we are participating in.
Instead of allowing a stress reponse to be harmful, we can use it as a signal that we need to address something in our lives. Think of stress as your brain alerting you to do something.
By remembering that we are generally capable of coping with life (you've got this far haven't you?), we can transform our frustration, hurt or fear into action.
To do this is fairly simple, but requires commitment. When feeling "stressed", take a few deep breaths to help relax. Choose to remember that you are a generally capable person who may not like your cirsumstnace, and is able to cope with life.
There is a wise old saying: This too shall pass. To handle stress it is helpful to use truth (i.e., I am capable of dealing with this), as opposed to giving in to a unsubstantiated belief that you won't be able to handle whatever is coming your way.
You may not know the solution right now, and you are able of creating one.

Depend to the person life style...
But my studies shows that number one cause of stress is 'Failure to Have a Plan of Action in accordance to Your Ability'
Then I manage my TIME:
I know that there are hundreds important things that I must DO...
But I would ask myself at 'this particular Time' What I can do?
Therefore I focus on whatever I am doing...If I am eating...I will try to enjoy it...I don;t thing about what I should do after that or next week...

According to many psychological studies, finance is the leading cause of stress. I am studying this is college right now and it gets much more detailed as to why and things like that. Money is a huge contributing factor.

Right now it's my husband having to go through more chemotherapy and radical treatment to get rid of his cancer. Having a loved one suffering physically or emotionally is tough! My own health has done weird things in this time so yes, there are things you can do like pray, get exercise, talk with a friend, walk your dog, play with your child in a giddy and goofy way that makes them laugh. Hug and love the person who's got the battle ahead of them. It's tough.

For me it is when I said " I Do and Did". Married 24 years now, I am stressed totally out!!
I recently found out how to get rid of my stress.
I stopped smoking cigarettes.
I stopped drinking.
I work out, eat healthy and stay in shape.
I am less stressed and less depressed now.
My blood pressure is great and my chloestrol level coudn't be any better.
The key to lifes one mystery in depression and stress can be somewhat healed or at least made better when your physically in shape and in good health that leads to a good mind.

I believe it is family and finance. But many people have drama in their lives that they really don't need. Get rid of the drama, get your household in order, don't live beyond your means and it's important to have someone in your life that you can talk to. (Spouse, Friend, Therapist, etc.) It always feels better when you have someone who won't be offended when you just need to vent.
