Love is an appreciation of the goodness of someone else. Every single key-word in your paragraph, however, (i.e. "smile," "glow," "happy," "sad") describes a physical reaction: nothing idealistic, selfless, or appreciative. No offense girl, but grow up--and take a biology class.

I think that this phase will pass. Love is not all about the glow when things are going great. But if you still glow when things hit the fan and you can forgive and forget and still care for him deeply then you are in love!
